The camp of Margarito feel that by facing Williams, Margarito eliminates his mandatory and cashes in on the recent hype surrounding the bout.
This makes perfect sense, and is really the bottom line for Margarito at this point.

There's fan interest, Williams has hype off back to back TV fight, he's his mandatory, and he's calling him out like mad on TV and in the press.

No reason Tony shoudn't fight this guy. It does MUCH more for his stock than a fight with Clottey.

Although Clottey isin't really as big a potential media threat as Paul "The Punisher" Williams:

I think he poses a moderate challenge considering he runs 12 miles a day and might be in the best shape of any professional athlete.....let alone boxing.

Williams is getting a bit overhyped....and ever since his last outing people have been calling it the return of Jesus.

Mitchell is done...and never posed a chance. He shouldn't even be considered a guy who should be fighting at Welterweight successfully......let alone against a 6'2 giant who belongs at heavyweight.

This fight makes a lot of sense.

Williams will look like this December 2.

I never said Clottey isn't a challenge, but Williams is the better fight in almost every aspect.

I hope this fight happens this are two punching machines is going to be a really exiting fight. I see it going to Margarito around 8. MArgarito will strugle with the southpaw style but u also gotta remeber what a killer uppercut Margarito when he goes southpaw....
