i love margarito as a fighter, i like his style but fighting williams wont do him much good, he shoule be fighting more experienced fighters like cotto etc. like ferocity said if williams loses they will say he lacks experience which he really does and if williams wins it will boost his career margarito has nothing to gain on this fight.

Taking this Fight I respect margarito , not taking it i STILL RESPECT HIM WHY YOU ASK. Credibility taking this fight is not a factor Why/, because fact of the matter is everyone is taking in consideration who both these fighters have fought. The truth is both have not fought so called "NAME FIGHTERS". Margarito personally i know is the better fighter taking this fight will not give him credibility because he is green , it might be being a hypccrite, but Mayweather is the root cause of this whole fiasco. Fact of the matter is this fight would not give margarito enough incentive to take it , just as much for mayweather to take a margarito fight and lose , and not have a chance for a may5th bought with golden boy. This would be a business decision which i respect , because that is the same thing mayweather is doing to him so why not do it too. THE BOXING GAME IS A SHADY GAME, no one is gonna give you a belt you have to go out there and grab it. PAUl WILLIAMS needs more experience, more training on his footwoork , speed , acurracy , and overall boxing skills. Throwing a 100 punches a round will obviously give you a KO as an end result , but thats gonna leave you open to get cracked, he just has not got cracked in the face with real welterweight power, once that happens , the paul williams train will finally come to a stop.
