Lewis would have stopped him still unless Mike landed the big one which would be entirely possible.....but I think Lennox would have fought smart like he did against Tua and still won.I mean saying Tyson would win is kind of like saying Buster was better in his prime than Lennox and thats just not true.......

Its very relevant, because the great champions are destroyers, young Ali, Joe Frazier, Rocky, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, etc. Those guys are the definition of greatness, they didn't just settle for wins or be cautious like Lewis was, they annihilated the opposition. Lewis would not have the right mentality to KO a young prime Mike Tyson, in fact, he was so cauitious with a Mike Tyson 15 years past his peak that Manny Steward was begging and screaming for him to take Mike out. So the notion that Lewis would KO a prime Mike who was dangerous for all 12 rounds is just ridiculous. Lennox Lewis' technically flawed style would have been tailor made for Tyson imo.

Lewis rarely got hit with combos too good of defense it would have had to come from 1 shot IMO.......maybe 2 if he got lucky.

Lewis did not win no 7 rounds, thats for sure. I have the tape of that fight somewhere in in my attic, once I find it, I will watch it, and tell you exactly what rounds Mercer won. As for Lewis, you keep sayintg he dominated a stronger division, but please list these supposedly stronger list of opponents that he "dominated".

True but how many great boxers like Lewsis did Tyson face.......I think Holmes would have beaten Tyson too if he was not so old when they fought.......Prime Holmes would beat Prime Tyson too IMO.The jab would have neutralized his aggressiveness.......Lewis and Holmes very good jabbers.

yeah they r good jabbers.but i think tyson would jus turn to feints like he did so often to get passed the jabs. he was really quick in getting in fast.
