Archie moore would demolish most of todays heavy weight. Im not even talking about a prime archie im talkin about the old archie that fought ali. I Think most heavy weights of that era could beat ours because they have much better endurance than any heavy weight today and going 12 rounds would be easy for them. It would be 3 less than they normaly go. I think archie and most old heavys could do good in todays division

It's not even a question, lennox was great, he is greatness.
      He's great, but top 5 ALL-TIME. Nope.

LOL, no he wouldnt. Use common sense, archie wouldnt last at heavyweight. he couldnt even beat floyd patterson.

You're like some weird little cultist with that quote in bold. Lennox is great and top 15 of all time for heavyweights. Some have him in top 10. Second best of all time?? lol no, nice try pal.

hey...now floyed patterson was a heck of a fighter. Its kindof sad he is rememberd mainly for being ktfo'd by sonny liston and ali. But he was good. Not an Atg But good. I think patterson would beat all of todays title holders within a month if he was still alive and in his prime.

I trained out of a boxing club that used to compete against the club that Lennox fought out of. Lennox is a year older than me and I spoke casually to him a few times back then which was the early 1980's.

I followed Lennox his whole career since amateur and never thought too much of him. When I would watch Lennox fight Holyfield, Tyson etc...I couldn't get over the image of him as the quiet skinny teenager with a box cut and Kitchener Boxing Club track suit. I lowballed the guy his whole career I guess because I saw him as a mortal.

Now that his career is complete and I look back on his body of work I have to say he was a great heavyweight champion. His height, reach, size, strength, punching power would make him a difficult opponent for any other heavyweight champion.

I'll also add the Emanuel Steward saved the career of Lewis who became a much better fighter with Manny training him.

Did I say he wasn't great? Nope, he is. Did SABBATH say he was better than Joe Louis? Nope.

Do I disagree with you stating that Lennox could be just below Ali on an all time great list? Yes I disagree with you.
