You're right. You didn't. My bad.Originally posted by Hitman932yet another person talking before he reads
i never said that you said he should fight peter, my post simply pointed out that there is no reason for him to fight peter right now, unless peter has a belt to offer wlad only morons would suggest that matchup, wlad has already beaten him soundly, what makes you think sam peter wants to get his ass kicked once again?
And all I was saying is that Peter would have been a better match up that he could have taken.Comment

I know exactly what you said fool. to even bring up peter who was thoroughly out boxed and has since done nothing was a joke. just clearly illustrates your being biased against wladOriginally posted by 7001Do you not read the posts before you comment? I said that Peter was an option. An option that he chooses not to pursue because he knows what will happen. He could fight Peter if he wanted to but he doesn't. He could fight anybody he wants to, but he don't. Fighters make fights happen all the time. He chooses the lesser threat. That's what I am saying. How many times do I have to type that. I'm not saying Brock is a *****, I am saying he is the lesser threat to Wlad's chin. I'm not saying that Peter deseves another shot. I am saying instead of fighting the best match up for him as a title holder, he chooses the lesser threat to his chin. He has a weak chin that has been exposed more than twice. Mark my words right here and now, I'm saying it first, this won't be the last time he chooses to fight a lesser opponant in order to save his belt. He will continue to duck any and all opponants until he is forced to fight somebody and then he will drag it out as long as he can and then bow out hurt like his brother did.Comment

peter wouldnt have been a better matchup. a rematch would be disaster for peter and he'd get out boxed again,,,probably worse so than before. the fight ended with him being hurt badly and beat up. a rematch would be a continuation of that and I doubt very much that wlad would let him off the hook again when peter would get himself all off balance after his wild swingsOriginally posted by 7001You're right. I got one thing to say if vlad wants to unify so bad why was he gonna fight briggs ? he has no belt. sergi wants a unification fight, what's the problem ? Problem vlad is scared of sergi, I personally think he is the one to beat in the division, hands down. Manny and vlad are full of ****. they saw wat a competive fight he gave brewster and want no parts of him. I think sergi will beat all the current so called champs, and can unify the division. Think about this, he had a long layoff and still beat lamon, Vlad was active and still had problems.Comment

Negotiating with King will be difficult. Wlad will probably have to get the WBC belt first. And of course the timing of this is going to be difficult, because if he doesn't fight Maskaev now, Oleg will be fighting (and very likely losing to) the winner of Peter-Toney in early '07. The any unification will be pushed to the middle of next year, and that's if Toney/Peter want to fight Wlad right away rather than milk the title.Comment

Wlad landed on his ass 3 times in that fight. Had Peter been in a little better shape and was a little smarter, Wlad woud have been KO'd. And the same goes for Peter. I doubt Peter would let him breath after he knocks him down. Peter didn't have the smarts or stamina to do it the first time, I doubt he would make the same mistake twice.Originally posted by beez721peter wouldnt have been a better matchup. a rematch would be disaster for peter and he'd get out boxed again,,,probably worse so than before. the fight ended with him being hurt badly and beat up. a rematch would be a continuation of that and I doubt very much that wlad would let him off the hook again when peter would get himself all off balance after his wild swingsComment

krasniqi did, meehan did, wlad kicked his ass before tiring, lyko simply exposed brewster who was weighing in at a career high and clearly taking is opponent lightly. now you think he can unify the division though he has only one meaningful victory in his entire career.
i think Wlads opinion of don king and his options is well known, its hilarious that people like you continue to ignore the simple fact that wlad will not allow himself to fall under don kings control, you should be applauding him for taking a stand that so many others have been unwilling to make.Comment

peter has not goten better since the last fight, how can you fail to see that?? robert hawkins took him the distance and you act like wladamir klitschko cannot do it again? give me a break?
peter has regressed as a fighter since losing to wlad, as shown by his choice of opposition.
peter has gone from 243 lbs to 251 pounds to 257 pounds and yet you think he is getting better? LMFAO at you, use some logic and save yourself some face.
meanwhile wlad has only improved since beating peter.
peter is not getting in better shape, peter is not getting smarter, take your prediction and flush it down the toilet seein how it is based on nonesense and personal fantasy.Comment
