  • Comments Thread For: Broner On Prograis Fight: I Don't See That Next, But I'm Gonna F--k Him Up

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut Adrien Broner expects to fight a more known opponent than Jovanie Santiago next. Regis Prograis is the potential opponent that has been mentioned most, but Broner doesn't think he'll face the former WBA super lightweight champion when he returns to the ring later this year.

    Still as delusional as ever.

I get Prograis sees it as a money fight but he's above this and should be fighting the top guys.

They're going to draw this fight out and make out like its some must see, great fight but its nothing but a pointless mismatch tbh

The only question is can Prograis be the first to stop him that is the only intrigue here.

He should be earning all he can, because his time is limited. It's funny how winning the Mayweather sweepstakes meant getting your biggest payday and losing to the best guy, so you didn't have to worry about situations like these 🤣

Did anyone notice Broner's eyes last Saturday night? He looked like someone about to be beheaded.

He knows well he don't want none of Prograis.

                I’m not mad at Prograis

Who wouldn’t want a win over a 4 division former champion on his record but don’t mess around and let Broner get in shape and get up for the fight and you lose to a has been, then your career is over! Period

I would be very surprised if Broner signed to fight prograis next. I don’t think he wants any part of prograis because they would require him to train hard to get into shape and it will also mean he would be facing a live dog with skills and every time Broner fights a live dog he goes into lazy coast mode where he throws nothing but jabs and it becomes a boring match where he doesn’t try to win

I think Prograis shouldn't even think about this fight until Broner proves he can actually make 140, and win @ 140! His focus should be Mario Barrios @ 140, Zepeda @ 140, or Mikey Garcia @ 147 or a catch-weight! At this point, Broner is a waste of time!
