He plowed a weak division whose top fighters were brawlers. The top guys Loma and Tank both moved up. 135 have people with lighting quick hands and huge themselves. i don't see his come foward aggression and sloppy defense surviving that weight class.

The first time I saw Valdez was on the undercard ppv of Crawford vs Postol....back then Valdez looked like your typical gardener with fighting skills but today He has a doctorate in fighting....A Mad Scientist of the Sweet Science if you will.

when your fighter says in the corner "ya valio verga" I think is time to not let him get more hurt.

              Amazing win for Valdes

He put a masterclass on him.

All week I was worried about Valdez's health in this fight. I thought he showed signs of too many miles on him the past couple fights. Then he delivers tonight. I take back what I said about too many miles.

What a performance!! I hope Berchelt is ok; His corner or the ref/doctor should have stopped it before 10 (or was it 9?)

                      Same, same & same.

I thought Valdez was on the way down, but this was a career best performance tonight. Respect to Valdez on the W & looking forward to what he decides to do next. Always was a fun guy to watch, but he showed a whole other level tonight.
