If Teo is under contract to TR, then it might be a good idea for him to actually read the fine print. Bob has been at this a long time. He knows what he can and cannot do. Like him or hate him, Bob won't lose the legal battle to Teo of all people.

What are you talking about? Arum himself admits in that statement that what Lopez/Kambosas are doing is NOT illegal.

Arum offered Lopez a purse AGAINST A MANDATORY that he did not deem good enough. So when a promoter can't come to an agreement on a mandatory fight, it goes to a purse bid. There is nothing wrong with that.

But because Lopez did not take the 1.25M offer and the fight may take place on another promoter's show and network, he is threatening to take it on Lopez by not letting him fight the winner of Taylor/Ramirez.

This has nothing to do with Lopez not "reading the fine print."

Lopez signed his career away to Arum. He is now obligated to TR, he isn't a free agent. You don't know what is in the contract. You are spitballing some scenario based upon how you or I think things should be. That doesn't always mesh with what is in the contract.

1.25 mil is more than generous to fight freakin' Kambosis. All the money in the marketplace over the past three years has these guys confused.

Lopez is demanding Arum go into the red and lose money here.

This could go very bad for Lopez.

Arum threatens Eddie Hearn saying if he puts in a bid for the Lopez fight he might kill the Joshua/Fury fight from happening. Now threatens Lopez saying if someone puts in bid even though what Lopez did is not illegal he will punish him by denying him a large payday against the winner of Taylor/Ramirez. Not a good look for Arum and you are not just punishing Lopez you would be denying a big money fight for the winner of Taylor/Ramirez. You are also not just punishing Hearn if he's the one who bids you are punishing Tyson Fury if you block/sabotage his biggest payday against Joshua.
