Good fighter, although? I don't really think he fought in a great era, but still a better era that Canelo Alvarez at middle -weight to Light Heavyweight etc

I'm in a weird space.. when I think of fighters like Floyd & RJJ then Ward. I know A+ is the highest but I feel like Ward is a notch or two below them clearly. I'm gonna vote A+ but I don't feel Wards at their level..

Really? BJS, Andrade, GGG, Jacobs, Charlo, & Canelo were all at one time at 160!

Plant, Benavidez, Dmitry Bivol, Artur Beterbiev..

Gave him an A. One of the best p4p fighters of his era. Smart, difficult to beat, a good all rounder. Often seemed to need to bend the rules and fight a dirty, ugly fight. Arguably lost to Kovalev. I also always thought he might struggle with a fast, mover type based on his style and attributes.

I’m biased having seen Ward work his way from Kings amateurs to Boxing royalty, Ward is a god amongst men to me. Right on champ!

Still anybody that can be mentioned in the same breath as Roy Jones at 168 where he was also a god amongst men, means Ward is a A+ fighter no question.

Thought his 168 resume bar Kessler and Froch was overrated, good but not great.

Thought he lost the first Kovalev fight 116-111 and their rematch was dubious.

However an excellent fighter who could box and be rough, just boring to watch at times.
