Just because AJ was (and is again) over hyped. He is a Frank Bruno with worse technique.

If anything, because he has lost, he is being under-hyped considering what is around him at the moment: -

1. Wilder - most padded/protected and unskilled fighter in history.

2. Fury - most overhyped resume in history. Great but boring win over Klitschko and then a DRAW and a win against the most padded/protected and unskilled fighter in history

I comment what I see and when I see Fury, I think he has the highest skills in hw boxing since Alě and the fact he is such a huge person makes me think he is even more outstanding.

I agree Wilder was overhyped and has very limited skills, but you have to agree that a punch from him could ko any hw in the division. This is not enough to be great and it was evident vs Wilder.

Bit of a pointless exercise to call him out though. Joshua barely broke a sweat with Martin. Now suddenly Martin is in the same conversation as Wilder.

Warrington suffering a shock loss at feather to a heavy handed Lara is just as shocking as Joshua losing to Ruiz due to the HW division punchers chance probability.

What I don't like about your post is that you are kind of saying that up-and-comers, who have been marketed amazingly well, can't suffer shock losses. That's 100% ridiculous. You're in the realms of 'a boxer cannot win a fight unless its a hospitalising knockout, just because its not entertaining'.

No he’s right. There were posters on here literally comparing Joshua to Ali and how he was going to be one of the greatest ever etc etc. Given most of those posters were Nigerians and Edward Hearn arse lickers it tends to go into one ear and out the other but the poster is right, the casual class of posters (of which there are many on here) were maiming similar claims

Why do they keep saying that Joshua´s defeat was one of the biggest upsets in history?? BS. Only casuals shlud say that. Ruiz was a good boxer who already had fought for a title in New Zealand and most people thought he should have won or a draw.He lost by decision to the hometown guy, Parker...Joshua is simply overhyped because he is British and in recent years, England has been pumping money and influence in pro boxing ( DAZN, Hearn, etc ). 10 years ago no one in America even knew about Brits, just a couple appeared on the scene every now and then.
