Haye was a great Cruiserweight champion, had a so-so Heavyweight run. I think the people who try to trash Haye in this fight are the idiots who bought into the hype that he was some kind of Roy Jones/Lennox Lewis hybrid. The fight was a good one and Haye tried but was too small.

haye fought like a ***** most of the fight, he was outside wlads range and would have to jump in and take risks of getting countered by wlad, so he would rather drop nearly every round than take too many risks

yeah i get you have a highlight real, of 5 minutes of slow motion clips, out of a 36 minute normal speed fight. haye threw some punches some times, but he fought the majority of the fight like a *****

      The scorecards were slightly misleading

You’d think Wlad dominated that fight
In reality there was probably only 10 jabs separating the two. That’s how uneventful it was

Because Wlad was too big and too good for him. His mouth was writing cheques his ass couldn't cash.

He fought like a counter puncher, which he is.

He was never going to throw the gameplan out of the window and start swinging like a loon.

He was a ambush fighter at heavyweight, the game-plan was to stay on the outside then jump in with attacks 'But in this case? Prolong the attacks' Adam Booth once done a interview with IFL TV explaining this, he stated that the first phase of attack was fine, but Haye was hesitant to follow him etc or his leg was giving him too much trouble.

David Haye was not a straight up counter puncher in my opinion, his finishing capabilities displayed that.
