I wonder if the $40 million is for anybody, or just Crawford?

So basically pac doesn’t want the fight because he knows Crawford would make sure it’s his last. Pac took 10 mil to fight Thurman but needs 40 for Crawford?? Lmaoooo Not let’s see what excuses pacs corny fans make for this.

Is he asking for 40 mil across the board for everyone including Spence and Mikey? If not, then that 40 mil for Crawford is definitely a duck.

FYI, It was Bob who floated that number according to the article. That's the Middle East money.

Besides, Canelo was getting over $30m per fight with DAZN and AJ made significantly more than $40m in his rematch against Ruiz. Pacquiao is probably bigger than both in terms of drawing power, certainly far more accomplished, and would be facing the #1 or 2 p4p fighter in the world as a 43 year old underdog.

Save the pricing out talk for the boxers out there asking for multiples of their biggest purse who have no more then 1/2 highlight wins to their name.
Pacquiao does not deserve 40 mil. He made a combined 20 mil guaranteed vs Broner and Thurman combined, and both of those Ppv buys together didn’t even crack 1 mil Ppv buys. The Ppv vs Thurman generated a total of 37.5 mil. So Pacquiao saying he wants 40 mil is basically him saying he doesn’t want the fight without actually saying it. No company is willing to lose money on a fight and that’s exactly what the math says would happen.

Exactly this. He's not interested in fighting Crawford for whatever reason. You can't have a price for one fighter and different prices for others.

canelo getting 400 million. cotto got $30 million for one of his last fights. pac is far greater than either cotto or canelo combined.and known more worldwide.

pac only fighting one or two more times and he's gone from the sport forever. there will never be another pac ever. why not ask for the big paydays?? years floyd fans criticise pac for being underpaid and now pac asking for the big paydays he finally deserves. get a grip.

Pac's insane! There's no way he is getting $40 Mil from Bob Arum; Especially in the middle of a quarantine/lockdown. Obviously he doesn't want the fight because he is pricing himself out.
