Who did Pac fight in their prime?

Its a fact most of Pacquiaos biggest "wins" are off of Mayweather leftovers at catchweights and guys coming off of losses, while Mayweather often fought guys after their biggest wins.Comment

Interesting. If you give Pacquiao credit for that win against a weight drained Cotto, would you also give Mayweather credit? Considering the fact that Mayweather fought Cotto RIGHT AFTER the Marg rematch, which made him mentally better.Comment

Thurman, Cotto, Bradley, Marquez, Barrera, Morales, Diaz, Vargas, Floyd
Fought most of those guys in rematches as well.
Just LMAO at people trying to say Thurman wasn’t in his prime.
That’s just some nerdy arse lame $h!t.
He was FOOKING undefeated going up against Manny and if he wasn’t prime, then WTF was Manny?!
He was 42 years old when he fought Thurman!
LMAO good god there’s some lame nerds on NSB.
Seriously, LAME NERDS.
If Floyd was in his prime for that Pacquiao fight then Pacquiao was at his peak.

Pacquiao best wins are Morales, Barrera, Marquez etc, top tier HOF’ers. Hatton, Shotsley and Hoya are not his best wins. Cotton is one of Floyd’s best and toughest fights though, and Pacquiao fought a much fresher version.
Margarito also wasn’t Mosley’s best win, neither was Cotto’s win over cyclops Margarito his best win. Stop parroting.
While Pacquiao was making his name off beating borderline ATG’s, Mayweather was making it off 5tko losses Castillo and drained & dead Corrales. The likes of Morales, Marquez etc are twice the fighters to those guy’s. It’s different calibre of fighters.Last edited by SplitSecond; 02-10-2021, 08:26 AM.Comment

Ill agree with the first sentence, but Manny Pacquiao fans also bring up Floyd leftovers while calling Floyd a cherry picker. The second sentence makes no logical sense at all. Cotto had been beaten by Margarito and was still mentally recovering from that, and that fight happened at a Catchweight too, while Mayweather fought Cotto at his more natural weight at that time.Pacquiao best wins are Morales, Barrera, Marquez etc, top tier HOF’ers. I meant some of their biggest wins not their biggest win. Mosley rejuvinated after his dominant performance against Margarito, and the Margarito rematch was, as by Cottos own words, his most satisfying victory.Comment

Your point being? Pacquiao has fought 5 fighters coming off of losses and was stopped early in his career too. Mayweather fought Marquez too so I don't know what you are on about, that to 4 years before he knocked Pacquiao out COLD. Also, Corrales was not drained he fought like that all the time.
Anyway, you are just speaking nonsense at this point, Mayweather was beating De La Hoya, Gatti, Judah, and Hatton when Pacquiao had his good trilogy against Morales.Comment

Gatti, Judah, Hatton, again, not the calibre of fighters compared to Marquez, Morales and Barrera.

Okay, but Mayweather beat Marquez. Manny Pacquiao arguably lost the second and third fights and was knocked out in the fourth (I thought Pacquiao won the first, Marquez won the second, the third was a draw) btw. Those fights were still good and entertaining to watch I can admit.Comment
