It's not too many guys who got ko'd like Manny did and beat a prime elite fighter like Thurman at his age. Roy Jones got ko'd at what 34 or 35 and he was finished.

Coming back from adversity. The true greats in any sport have been judged by this character trait. Your boy Floyd was too low risk he didn't want any adversity in his fights. Only in Floyd Boy land is a loss the end of the world
this is fooking true.. so 0 is their nightmare.. look at the young lions now? fooking scared to take on the real threat and have the balls to demand a higher purse.. that's the teaching in floyd's land.

floyd is picking his opponents IF only at his advantage.. do you call that a best boxer? why don't we just list down the fighters he ducked when he is in his prime or let's say the opponents prime? what i know is he will just go retire if he smells a threat in his division and will comeback later on when everything is a calm water.

floyd wouldn't want the caliber of barrera and morales. that's why he can only watch and jump into happines when pac is fighting morales. i'd say pac granted him his best watching of his life.. floyd really is a pac fan.

Much respect for giving Manny full credit for beating Thurman.
I don't even hate Manny Pacquiao, but his rabid fanbase who insult every boxer he faced lol.

That was Floyds last fight, I can admit he could have fought a better opponent, but many great fighters fight lower opposition in their final fights.

But Mayweather beat Pacquiao so your arguments and 4 different qoute posts are basically pointless.

floyd didn't beat him solo.. he was with the ref and judges. so the handicap is terrible.. you know that.. that's another fulfillment for floyd.. he had the chance to fight his idol and was able to get the win.

The problem with you pac fans is that you refuse to acknowledge basic facts. From 1998-2007, Mayweather was the most ducked fighter. Cotto's team didn't want to fight 140lb Floyd. Manny Pacquiao was silent in this time period. No one was calling out Floyd. Floyd himself wanted BOTH Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley, but the latter moved up to WW to fight De La Hoya and they didn't come down to WW like they said they would. It was only when Floyd, whose ridicilously small for a WW, started experiencing hand problems and aged when Cotto and Mosley and Pacquiao became so brave
