I reckon Ortiz would have got to him and cracked that chin.

PBC would have had a field day

    They really screwed Ortiz

I always thought this. Smh wasted opportunity

Ortiz hasn’t got Ruiz’s chin. Ruiz walked right through punches that would have finished Ortiz.

Quite possibl, how different would the heavyweight have looked now if that were the case. Fury wouldn’t be overhyped and wilder wouldn’t have been even in contention for being considered the best

I believe what got AJ was not the pressure of being overseas but the pressure of speed and combinations of Ruiz. Particularly, when you aren't expecting a "short, fat guy" to give you that sort of trouble.

Ortiz's style is different. Not sure he could have capitalized on what Ruiz did. Ortiz's best bet would have been his stance and power shots. During that fight, AJ wasn't as light or mobile as he was in AJ-Ruiz II.

            Time to get real.

The only person who may have posed a threat to Ortiz was a prime Ali, and Ortiz would be having an off day during that fight to lose it.
