Joshua would be spotted by pretty much anyone in uk where as fury wouldn’t. Simple as that when it comes to fan base really.
Those are the only countries that really matter.

I literally hear people talk about AJ at work who never ever watch boxing, that just doesn’t happen with fury - not even when he fought wilder.

I’ve clearly acknowledged that popularity is the primary reason for top billing historically in bixjng. I just made the point that I think it’s ******. For canelo to have gotten top billing over ggg was ******. For cotto to have gotten it over Martinez was ****** etc, and all this does is promotes pointless diva like behavior from boxers. No fan has ever looked at the billing and determined that was the reason why they wouldn’t purchase a fight. As it relates to Joshua, diva like behavior is why until now, he’s been fighting guys like pulev while fury and wilder got to fight each mother twice. As far as why the uk prefers Joshua over fury, I don’t know. I question the judgment of fans who passionately followed guys like khan, hamed, haye, hatton etc yet somehow prefer Joshua over fury because in your simplified words, you find him more attractive.
What I actually took you to task on was you ******ly trivialising people’s preference for Joshua as being a “groupie”, before saying you have no idea why people prefer him. Then like the idiot you’re proving to be, you pointed out the popularity of British fighters with blistering offensive styles and dynamic punching who weren’t known for their defence to somehow support your argument. You’re telling me their styles have more in common with Fury than AJ? GTFOHLast edited by Blackstarr; 02-07-2021, 06:48 AM.

In what sense is he not a “star”, and how would you explain these youtubers having world class fighters on their under cards? And I am in no way a fan of Jake Paul btw, and haven’t even watched a free YouTube highlight of his fights.
I’m no millennial, and your response reminds me of a senile old man that insists that keeping money under the bed is safer and refuses to have an email address, while calling everyone else ****** for doing the opposite and living in the present.

The only thing Fury will be adamant on is coming out 2nd for the ring walks.
Everything else he doesn't care about. Even the poster, yeah in Fury's mind it should be Fury AJ, because Fury is the man and AJ wants what Fury has, Fury doesn't want or need anything from AJ, he just wants his scalp
AJ wants the lineal title, WBC belt and claim to the throne
Fury has the throne and does not care about the two belts AJ holds, he already has them in his front room. Never lost them in the ring. Fury should throw the IBF belt in the trash when he gets it back. GARBAGE.
People say fighters don't care about these details, they do. They have ego's. What Fury cares about though is getting the mental one-up on AJ. He already has it & wants to drive it home as FAR as possible. He wants to belittle AJ. He wants to make him feel like he's coming to his slaughter.
When all is said and done AJ is getting it the big dosserLast edited by miniq; 02-07-2021, 08:59 AM.
