You then listed Ajs offense, his character (or fury’s lack of character), and the fact that you find Aj more attractive. So in short what you’re saying is Fury isn’t an offensive fighter just because he’s known for defense also? Then how is it that he lets his hands go more than most other heavyweights and has 21 kos in 30 fights? As far as character, yes fury has had his issues but I guess overcoming adversity both inside and outside of the ring is less respected than Aj actually quitting in the ring and making excuses as to why. As far as looks, that’s a weird reason for dudes to support boxers and I won’t claim to know what Uk fans find attractive, but Ricky Hatton was more revered in the Uk than both Joshua and fury combined, and he looks like someone’s middle aged grandmother. Bottom line, I think Aj is more liked because he represented uk in the Olympics, medaled for them and portrays the patriotism uk fans want. Even though his roots are from Nigeria. Fury doesn’t give a s**% about pandering to the uk fans desire for over the top representation and represents his Irish Gypsy heritage more passionately.
Now you’re just spouting nonsense. Fury has never been known for his offense or punching power - his 21 KOs can simply be attributed to mediocre competition outside of Klitschko and Wilder. Fury’s style was always viewed as awkward and never really made for compelling viewing. That’s just facts, and I actually rate Fury as a great fighter and put him as a favourite against AJ. Did you not watch his fight against Klitschko, versus AJ’s performance? Which one was easier for the average man on the street to consume? And give me a break about overcoming adversity..Fury took PEDs (and one that can only be administered by injection at that) and got banned for 2 years..he brought the adversity upon himself.

And where did I say I personally found AJ more attractive? Regardless of that, it’s abundantly clear that AJ has infinitely more female fans. I was at Wembley, and I’ve never seen that number of women at a fight in my life, whereas normally men just leave their partners at home. The more intelligent among us are able to make some inference into why that is, which is what I did, but go ahead and twist what I said however you want. A lot of the hate that AJ gets is for this reason..insecure incels who feel challenged by his appeal and look for ways to diminish him.

AJ made no excuses about his Ruiz loss, and your lying on this matter while collectively labelling every AJ fan a “groupie” just emphasises you’re actually nothing but a faceless and nameless hater.

Thanks man, I appreciate us coming to a common understanding. And apologies if my response was rather impassioned..probably a result of too much time spent fruitlessly arguing with trolls on here.

And without fury and his WBC(and ring) it wouldnt be for undisputed, if it wasnt for how furys career unfolded then it's very unlikely AJ has those belts. If it wasnt for a robbery in New Zealand AJ would have lost trying to unify with wbo champ andy Ruiz. The marketing is that they have noone else to fight an it's the best vs the best more than it is the belts, as we know the carrier makes the belt rather than the belts making a fight relevant. If fury relinquished and AJ was fighting stiverne for the vacant WBC and to unify all the marbles would that not affect the billing as acdording to you it's all about the belts? No it's about the best vs the best, division from there era is cleaned out they've collectively beaten everyone except for each other.

Hearn dropping hints constantly wants government money in the uk when the countries broke. No thought just milk milk milk.

Fury's name should be first & he should walk 2nd.
He's world number 1 after beating 2 number 1s for all the belts & is lineal. Ajs never even boxed a top 2 heavyweight just old men & never beens. His highest ranked opponent was Ruiz after bouncing from 15 to 3 for rag dolling Aj xD

And if Fury had been immediately suspended after he tested positive for nandrolone after the Hammer fight, then there would have been no Klitschko fight and probably no Fury.

Your comment is full of pointless ifs that add nothing to the argument, and that Parker-Ruiz fight was close, and not a robbery by any stretch of the imagination.

Aj didn’t say the punch from Ruiz was a lucky punch “from the heavens”. He didn’t say he was feeling sick in the locker room before the fight? 'I couldn't understand why I felt so tired. In the dressing room in New York I was so tired I had to put my head in ice bucket.”

And your comparison on fights vs Klitchko is a moot point because by that same logic I can say what do you think was more enjoyable for fans, Joshua vs Ruiz 2 or fury vs wilder 1&2?? Give it up and quit like Aj did. You lost.

What exactly have I lost? My argument from the start was that AJ is a bigger commercial draw and has more belts, which should determine he has top billing. You agreed this is how it is historically but argued that it’s ******, which is frankly just a matter of opinion and a biased one at that. Everything else you’ve spouted since then is such opinionated nonsense that literally has no relevance to the question at hand.

Fury-Wilder 1 and 2 were obviously more entertaining, but the point is the 2nd fight in particular was nothing like the usual Fury performance, while the Joshua-Ruiz 2 fight wasn’t anything like the usual AJ fight. If their fights continue to follow the same pattern (Fury-Wilder 2 vs AJ-Ruiz 2), then absolutely general perceptions will soon change and Fury will be seen as the more exciting and popular fighter. Until then, he can continue to struggle filling a stadium against anyone not named AJ, while simpletons like you with little reasoning capacity can continue to struggle understanding why this is the case.

                    Clearly Joshua's.

More popular, more sponsored, more belts.

I certainly rank Fury as the champion and Joshua as just a pretense champion, but, our nerdy ass lineal title and WBC history bull**** might be true, that doesn't make not the exclusive knowledge of boxing nerds...you nerd ****ers. And so, the mainstream king has to be Joshua and to maximized rev for both fighters Fury should want to see Joshua's name first. There's nothing wrong with the most legitimate champion coming off as the challenger in the eyes of casuals. They're casuals, they don't know **** and the best way to teach them is to just make that money not make a ****ing poster.

wait, what happened to you saying Joshua didn’t make excuses? Yet another twist in the debate you tried to take and were proven wrong. At this point, I’m just going to agree to disagree because you’ve reached the point that you’ve not made a valid point at any turn and you’re just trying to salvage some dignity. End of the day, I feel Fury has had the better wins, career so far, and is ranked higher as a heavyweight, and you feel Joshua has the belts that he won from nobody credible, and you also find him physically attractive. More power to you. Good day.
