I’m assuming reading comprehension isn’t a strong point of yours. I’ve clearly acknowledged that popularity is the primary reason for top billing historically in bixjng. I just made the point that I think it’s ******. For canelo to have gotten top billing over ggg was ******. For cotto to have gotten it over Martinez was ****** etc, and all this does is promotes pointless diva like behavior from boxers. No fan has ever looked at the billing and determined that was the reason why they wouldn’t purchase a fight. As it relates to Joshua, diva like behavior is why until now, he’s been fighting guys like pulev while fury and wilder got to fight each mother twice. As far as why the uk prefers Joshua over fury, I don’t know. I question the judgment of fans who passionately followed guys like khan, hamed, haye, hatton etc yet somehow prefer Joshua over fury because in your simplified words, you find him more attractive.

Personally I think Joshua-Fury sounds better. The ee sound as the final syllable naturally suits the ear better, but I acknowledge this is far from a major consideration.
There are a number of ways you could argue it.
Most belts: I think the strongest thing to consider is that Joshua is the unified champion and Fury is not.
More money: Joshua brings more commercially.
More active: Joshua fought more recently.
But if it is Fury-Joshua, that is fine too. All that means is that they have put all the commercial focus on the second name, that's all.Comment

It was Tyson Fury who ended the Klitschko era, and then he went on to knock out Wilder to take the WBC belt as well.
He is the real heavyweight champion so his name should go first.Comment

All I can say is that Fury better come prepared to fight.
There's no way he wins a decision on the scorecards by attempting to run out the clock by playing keep away in order to outbox Anthony Joshua.
It's either knockout or bust. If he doesn't knock Joshua out then he won't win the fight.Comment

Yes, but AJ has Matchroom Sport. Perhaps, the largest and most influential boxing promotion firm in all of boxing today; Especially in Europe and the outermost parts of the world.Comment

I’d like to see A.J walk out first since he will most likely win , Fury will have the more entertaining ring walk but not the most aura of greatness that A.J does how he comes out which can be saved for the second fight when he walks out last .
Either way these guys need to let Hearn quarterback this event if they want to generate the most money .Comment

In the end I reckon whoever gets their name first on the billing will likely have to compromise on dressing room etc.
I think Fury is more likely to be less bothered, it’s nothing new to him he’s always been the “B” side per se. Especially in his biggest fights.
Either way should be a good fight from two hungry guys. The two best champions going at it. Good luck to both. Hope they both are able to go Bk to their families healthy and safe.Comment
