GGG was unquestionably the no.1 fighter at the weight, undefeated, had 3 of the 4 major belts, but still was the b-side with a smaller purse split to Canelo who had no belt. Fury is even less of a draw than GGG, with fewer belts.
See I feel you, but thing is, it’s fight by fight. Joshua doesn’t bring more fans or consumers of PPV to THIS fight then what fury does. That’s the whole reason Hearn himself has ALWAYS said that fury would get 50%.

So lucozade and under armour deals mean nothing to this fight. Both men have no right to more or less than 50/50.

By that logic Ryan Garcia should get top billing over every lightweight while his biggest win is Luke Campbell. Fury is undefeated, was champion first, has the better wins and is ranked higher. He should be above Joshua based on boxing career itself, but Joshua will likely get top billing because uk fans are more passionate for Aj for whatever reason.
Exactly man. It’s guys like blackstarr” who are enabling Jake Paul to walk around thinking he’s a PPV star and that he’s a side against any world champion all because he has “Followers”. Boxing is dying and these millennials are getting worse every time.

So if Jake Paul was to land a shot at winner of Usyk-Joyce
Are you saying that Jake would have to be the A Side then? And he should call all the shots and be given superstar status. That’s what you mean, if we go by your reckoning, right?

As ridiculous as it is, Jake Paul/KSI are “PPV stars” in the strictest sense because they’ve sold millions of PPVs and crazily have real A class fighters like Devin Haney fighting on their undercards. We can all argue it’s perverse, which it probably is, but that’s the way things are now. In what sense is he not a “star”, and how would you explain these youtubers having world class fighters on their under cards? And I am in no way a fan of Jake Paul btw, and haven’t even watched a free YouTube highlight of his fights.

I’m no millennial, and your response reminds me of a senile old man that insists that keeping money under the bed is safer and refuses to have an email address, while calling everyone else ****** for doing the opposite and living in the present.

It’s abundantly obvious you’re not from the UK, because that first line is totally ridiculous. Fury himself vowed not to fight in the UK because of a lack of support, he couldn’t fill out Manchester Arena for his Klitschko rematch, and his UK homecoming last December was cancelled because of insufficient interest.

Fury is only getting 50% partly based the strength of what he has achieved in the ring, but ultimately because Hearn knows Fury would say no to anything less. And in Hearn and AJ’s mind, 50% of £200m is more than 65% of nothing.

Fury is the bigger star and he destroyed Wilder. He never lost, although sure you can debate if he beat McDermott in the first fight earlier in his career.

Joshua was beaten by a skillful fat guy in Ruiz, although credit for winning the rematch.

They should both come out together in opposites ends of the arena to save argument .....just make the god dam fight no let’s see who takes the top spot.
If it’s a two fight deal let them both come out 1st if not

Fury has held every belt in boxing

                  AJ wants what Fury has

                  Fury is the man

                  unbeaten

                  Fury will come out second.
