Plant is at least 5 times better boxer than golovkin and callum smith. Write that down

Plant is a step up instead of Clenelos usual old, weak and slow punching bags Smith, li G, kovalev and Fielding. same thing in two weeks then saunders.

He is 5x weaker with zero right hand to speak of,& is ducking everyone because he thinks he'll be gifted an undeserving payday(he won't be) no need to right that down everyone knows

Why is this dude acting as if the Benavidez fight wouldn't be a big fight? While I agree Benavidez messed up the opportunity for the fight to be for a unification, it's still one of the biggest and best fights in the division. He's using it as an excuse to duck Benavidez. Just fight the best, the only reason he has for sitting and waiting on Canelo is because he doesn't want to take the risk of losing

Plant was kicked out of the TMT gym because he was asking others if he could go to the clubs with them while they listened to rap music along the way. They said to him, “dawg, you’z weird!”

I agree.....plant doesn't deserve a shot at Canelo quite honestly.....id rather him fight and lose to someone who could actually give canelo a decent scrap.

I dislike the lack of professionalism from Benavidez, but he already lost his title as punishment, he shouldn't have to waste time beating fringe contenders just to get a shot at Plant. We already know he's the top contender, and fans want the fight.

I like both these guys as fighters. But they would benefit from facing each other. At the start of 2020 almost all of us would've said they needed a bit more experience before testing Canelo. But since that time neither of them have faced anybody in the top 10. Canelo had Smith and planning for BJS. So they were already needing to catch up to Canelo but instead seem further behind.

I'm sure they work on a lot in training but can't have taken much from their recent level of opposition, and they haven't had the psychological experience of handling big moments in the spotlight vs top opposition. Plant had difficult spots vs Uzi but they made him a better fighter, he'd benefit from more of that.

Geezus so hes gonna wait until September for canelo? He should just take another bum fight to stay active.
Does anyone know if plant balloons up in weight?

There's a reason Canelo is so interested in fighting this guy and becoming undisputed at 168. Just like there was a reason he had no interest in undisputed at 160. That's what he learned from Floyd, too.
