Usyk and Joyce are both hugely likeable guys (I think), they have a history, and their styles clash. What's not to like about this fight from a fan's perspective?Comment

The fact that Slow-Stiff-Joe has not been KO more often baffles me. Oleksandr Usyk, is going to be on his A-game come April, I expect Oleksandr to plant Slow-Joe like Sergey Kuzmin did in 2013, for the European Amateur Boxing Championships.Comment

This is a bona fide contest -- a risk for both boxers. Really hope we do see this in April. Very good news for the HW division if we can get this calibre of matchup on a regular basis.Comment

Usyk is just a fighter, and he thrives off challenges. It is one of the reasons I am such a fan. I am not surprised at all he is doing this. He wants to fight, and he wants legit challenges. Joyce could 100% put Usyk down. This guy is for real, and has the power advantage and is younger. Also, Joyce is full of self confidence and knows what a win over Usyk means. I am so in if this happens.
This fight is feel. Very feel.Comment

I like Usyk, but this doesn't seem like a great match for him. It's unlikely he can KO Joyce - if nothing else, the guy has a good chin, and Usyk hasn't shown he has a heavyweight punch yet. So he has to go 12 rounds with a bigger, stronger guy that can punch. He'll probably win on points, but he'll have to really careful to manage his energy and not get tired in front of a guy that never stops coming. Joyce is sort of like George Foreman, but with less power. Holyfield, the former cruiserweight, beat Foreman, but not by much! Seems like an unnecessary risk so early in his HW career. He should fight Joseph Parker or Andy Ruiz - he can outpoint those guys without getting beat up.Comment
