I'm not convinced that Joyce would KO Usyk, I'm equally not convinced that he'll get a fair decision in the UK.

I like both fighters and I agree with your view that Usyk is unlikely to KO Joyce, but I don't share the concern about managing his energy -- Usyk is a bit of an energiser bunny. Recent KOs have tended to be after dragging his opponent into deep waters.I like Usyk, but this doesn't seem like a great match for him. It's unlikely he can KO Joyce - if nothing else, the guy has a good chin, and Usyk hasn't shown he has a heavyweight punch yet. So he has to go 12 rounds with a bigger, stronger guy that can punch. He'll probably win on points, but he'll have to really careful to manage his energy and not get tired in front of a guy that never stops coming. Joyce is sort of like George Foreman, but with less power. Holyfield, the former cruiserweight, beat Foreman, but not by much! Seems like an unnecessary risk so early in his HW career. He should fight Joseph Parker or Andy Ruiz - he can outpoint those guys without getting beat up.Comment
