I doubt it helped. Idk that its the #1 issue doe.
From most accounts Conor had lost his way along the lines of what got him where he got to which likely is the bigger issue. I think we've seen the best version of Conor.
And then there is just the basic reality that anyone who's the #1 guy or the money guy is always gonna have guys prepping for him & working towards finding holes in the game more so than a random ass opponent cuz there is much more to gain with beating such a guy like Conor. That is everyone's problem thats why I always got a lot of respect for guys who stay on top a long ass time when everyone is gunning for them every time & the guy on top might have a harder time maintaining the same focus.Comment

Inactivity had little to do with it. Fact is, Connor is a little overrated, marketed himself well and made a career of beating mostly smaller guys. Once he went up to 155 and 170 he had average success. He is 2-2 in his last 4 amd could easily be 1-3 if he didn’t get the close decision over Diaz.Comment

No doubt Conor achieved a lot in his career & may still accomplish more idk, but if you conquer a country when folks thought you could conquer the world you are still overrated.Comment
