Floyd vs Hatton 2007 when Floyd told Larry Merchant he needed a vacation. You said his hands was hurtin'. Shane said if he beats Cotto he wants Floyd if Floyd beats Hatton. Prime Cotto beat Shane and called Floyd out but the phone was off the hook.

Mosley beat Margarito 1/09. Again says he's ready for Floyd.
Floyd came off vacation and fought Marquez 09/09. Two years later. Brian Kenny questioned Floyd about cherrypicking lightweight Marquez when Shane was the champ. Floyd gets offensive and makes excuses. Postfight Shane just went ahead and got in the ring and called Floyd out. Actual fight took place 5/2010.

So Shane actually was ready to fight Floyd a year after taking a vacation. Took one loss to Cotto regrouped and Floyd still ducked him.

It took Floyd 1.5 years to make the fight happen.
Nothing you post is ever honest.

Go with whatever story you want. Can’t change the truth.

If you say Floyd never took risks then we all know you’re lying because that is all you do.

NO, he always took the path of least resistance.
Good names, at the right time, weight, gloves etc.

Floyd never fought and beat people that would make historians think he'd challenge the ones with GOAT status.
So he only took calculated risks with a fine balance between keeping unbeaten record ie cw with nelo?
With cw he's sacrificed a bit of greatness. Fighting green nel o and no rematch with strongest nelo

I gave you dates, facts, and figures though. Not some made up story. If it's wrong then challenge it.

There's too much revisionist history going around here. I get people don't like Foyd but to act like those risks aren't risks because Floyd won? That's dumb.

How is fighting a guy 33-0 with 27 KOs; #1 ranked superfeatherweight, and #5 ranked p4p... not a risk?

            Because he won?

            Philistines....

What is there to lie about. If Floyd didn't take risks, he just didn't.
The consensus is Corrales was probably the biggest risk, and me personally I don't call beating a bunch of name brand, shopworn guys, and slow, flat footed, come forward guys much of a risk.
Your problem and your boy's problem is you want everybody to overexaggerate Floyd's standing because you thought you was watching ground breaking stuff, and unfortunately that's not happening.

You know who did take a risk that Oscar de la Hoya, when he went up to mw and fought Hopkins.

Everybody slurps Canelo but Floyd absolutely embarassed him. Mention catchweights or whatever garbage you want to mention, Floyd beat everyone they put in front of him.
