Mayweather to pull out of exhibition?

They had a presale for the mayweather vs Logan Paul fight and the numbers are not looking good. Floyd invested money in the company fanmio that was supposed to distribute the fight and he was planning on using Paul’s YouTube following to cash in on it but it does not seem to be working. Now they are saying that they pushed the date back but might even cancel it.

I don’t think floyds fight with that Asian kid moved the needle either. I think Floyd is going to pull out of the fight because he really was trying to sucker mcgregor and khabib into a fight but it didn’t work so he tried to ride the wave of the Tyson vs Jones exhibition by getting that dudes brother but it does not seem to be working.

I've been hearing about that. Is there any source?

From what I read...... Mayweather was getting a Guarantee of $5million and 50% of PPV sales.

The PPV were on a payscale of 24.99 till 1 million buys then at which point after a million buys the cost will change to 39.99, than on Dec29th the price will change to $59.99 then after Feb 11th the price change to 79.99

The thing is the price scale never broke 1 million buys it just jumped to the 59.99 price on decemeber 29th skipping the 39.99 payrate.

So all we know it that it didn't break 1 million buys before new years, is that a concern? I doubt it most PPV buyers buy it the day of.

50% of the ppv buys is a hefty chunk so I think Mayweather will try and keep this fight on if it projected to do any think north of 1 million buys.

I don't think so... I think they're trying to hide some figures out of respect for the feelings of those who were supposed to afford buying PPV but failed to do so due to the pandemic... That's how empathic Mayweather and his team is...

Mayweather PPVs never flops because he's the PPV King...

I don't get the appeal for this match up, but to each their own. Maybe there just wasn't enough interest, and they're still trying to measure how successful the event can be.

Maybe Logan didn't look emaciated enough.
