Not sure if i understand this? If Usyk was already the mandatory for the wbo i think, and is requiring step-aside money for the aj vs fury fight, why is he forced to fight Joyce for the title shot? This makes no sense. If I'm taking step aside money to not have a title fight, i would most def do so with the intent of having the title shot afterwards and not going through some interim match.

I think this is a good match, but i think the same outcome happens as the Chisora fight. Joyce is heavy handed but slow. Usyk will see those punches coming a mile away. Chisora tried to bully and come at usyk with everything and he gassed out. Thought he was gonna have a heart attack by the end of each round.

I think Joyce is a more patient fightet than Chisora, but he may be a hair faster. Don't think it will be enough though. Usyk wins on points.

Usyks not going to not fight the entire year and not fight someone. I don’t think he’s being forced he thinks he can win because he’s done it before ,can he do it in a 12 rounder ? Well he’s rolling the dice if he fights Joyce .

It was 5 rounds and Usyk had to go full tilt for all 5 rounds to win.

It's hardly compatible to a 12 round Pro fight.

I think this one is going to be very interesting because Joyce is going to make Usyk work for all 3 minutes of all 12 rounds and Usyk to me looked like he was right at the edge of his gas tank against chisora, who himself was gassed for the final 8 rounds of that fight.

It’s a 55/45 fight in favor of Joyce for me .

Usyk fought a seemingly effortless fight against Gassiev, a guy that probably punches harder than Joyce.

For Joyce to stand a chance, he needs to bully Usyk. Not box with him.

We'll see if Joyce can do that.

Joyce is just about 3 inches taller and has 4 inch reach over Gassiev . The main difference between them is Gassiev is much more flat footed ,Joyce has very underated movement on the feet ,he will close the distance much more effectively on opponents. Power wouldn’t really be a factor,it’s how much you can land on Usyk and be able to soften him up for a big bomb ,so I think Joyce could get a UD on a Usyk .

I’m not sold on Gassiev being able to get in the right positions for Usyk to knock him out with limited shots .

If it does then i hope the loser (joyce) fights Yoka. Dont think Yokas chin or gass tank will hold up to Joyce tbf.
