but the thing is, he's not a good boxer either! he got knocked out standing up trading punches so that tells you his boxing skills is not so great... he had success in mma because it allows kicks, etc. if he was to take all that away and just throw punches, then he will get easily exposed and knocked out again.

So based on every UFC event being on PPV, your right, only because every event is on PPV
Nope, the UFC puts out 40+ cards per year and usually 12 of those are PPV. On a particularly active year boxing puts out maybe half that but the average buyrates arent any higher than the UFC gets from 12. It isnt just a matter of the UFC getting more buys because they go to PPV more often. If you add up just the top 5 biggest PPV fights of the year from each the UFC is generating more buys from those most years too.

The UFC first broke a million in 2008, since then the UFC and boxing have both broken a million buys 19 times. Post Floyd/Pac its 10 times for the UFC and 6 for boxing, and out of that boxing 6, two were freak shows ie Floyd vs an MMA fighter and the Tyson/RJJ exhibition, so really its more like 10 vs 4. The UFC has also done it with a wider range of stars.

Then if you add up the amount of times both have broken 500k the gap would be much, much wider in favor of the UFC because it has a second tier of draws like Jon Jones and Adesanya who can pull in the 500-800k range. Theres been literally ONE boxing PPV in the last decade that did between 500-999k without involving Floyd, Pac or Canelo.

UFC PPVs are shown for free practically everywhere outside of the US, with the exception of some attempts at putting Conor fights on PPV in very recent times, iirc starting with the Conor/Khabib fight, so this is not true at all.

You say this like they are getting ripped off, when in reality they are generally getting a superior product with far more entertainment value for their money compared to most boxing PPVs. You are just twisting things as "UFC fans are gullible" as a defense mechanism for the fact that more people are willing to pay to see those fights than most boxing matches, because its a bigger deal these days.

Why should McMuffin focus on boxing? He's not a pro boxer and has trained and fought virtually his entire career as an MMA fighter. He can focus on boxing all day, he's not going to get much better. **** the guy can't even beat the contenders in MMA, HIS SPORT, he has no chance against a decent level boxer. McMuffin is done being anywhere near the top of any sport at this point.

How does it embarass boxing?? This is McMuffin's pathetic attempt at somehow justifying a fight against Pacquiao. You and the rest of the McMuffin fan base can make excuses all day. McMuffin is garbage now. It's embarassing to the UFC that it's most popular fighters want to get their ass handed to them in a boxing ring because they get paid so much less than high level boxers.
You only have to deal with hands in boxing? Is that it? GTFOH. The hands of a high level boxers would be WAY too much for McMuffin to deal with.

If conor was smart he would never have fought in MMA again and went 100% into boxing. Put his pride aside and fight a few tune up fights to get a few w's under you belt and than into a money fight.

Thats if you was serious about a Boxing career, but if you just about the money fight you just go into the money fight as to not risk losing it.

Oh yeah?? What else do boxers have to deal with? Kicks? Elbows? Knees? Going to the ground?? Heck a guy like Mayweather could have Kenny Bayless or Joe refereeing his fights and not even have to deal with clinches and in-fighting!!! Sounds like just hands to me, buddy.

The same thing does happen in boxing because McTap is nothing but a front runner with poor defence and little power.
