Loma needs to move back down a level as he looks magical fighting the likes of Campbell. Lopez 117-111.

This thread is embarrassing. You have to be actively participating in the fight to win the fight.

Loma fought 5 rounds. He won 4 of those rounds and lost 1. He gave away the other 7.

The only way Loma won this fight is if it was a 6 rounder that started in round 6. Then he won 4-2.

Loma has to move on and figure out what he is going to do and stare at his windshield at whats ahead, not stare at his rearview mirror. He didn't sign and rematch clause and he was not honest when he was interviewed before the fight about an injury and he didn't start fighting till later in the fight. Time for him to soul search instead of looking at the fight in slow-mo.

Loma is still winning rounds. Soon enough everyone will understand Loma won every round against Lopez, and we just couldn't appreciate the Matrix as the fight happened.

It was close and could have been a draw. It would be difficult for me to see Loma winning it.

Yet in the end, Loma left the lasting impression of who did more damage and was taking over the fight. The first portion of a fight should indicate what the entire fight is about but unfortunately since you bank rds where neither guy looked impressive, that already puts you in a lead.

If I was a judge that scored based on who impressed or looked more dominant at the end of the fight regardless of rds, I would have given it to Loma easily. He looked to figure Teo out and the first half of a fight is not the only rounds you should be winning when the fight is 12rds. Lopez was getting whacked in the second half. Regardless, Loma would have required a knockout to beat Lopez that night. They weren't going to give him a decision no matter what.
              Thanks for your post mate

Winning a round is more than just scoring who punched and who didn’t my new boxing fans. To score a round you have to look at all the variables including; ring generalship, defense, offense, cleaner punches, and hard blows. Loma was doing an Eastern European dance for the first half of the fight and as a P4p number 1 guy...you simply cannot do that.

If we ever saw Floyd, Roy Jones Jr, Pac-Man, Ali, Sugar Ray, or Canelo fight like that...we would criticize them the same way.

Fighting injured is part of the game...most of the fighters I listed above have fought one handed. If you’re great you make a way. I’m sorry but it’s time to move on. Loma will have to start over.

i'm not a loma fan but i saw he can dominate lopez. if he'd actually work his 1st half he would win the fight. i've never seen lopez got hit like that. too bad their game plan didn't work.

This fight was so close and mainly because Loma started late. It’s not like Lopez did anything spectacular to win the title so it’s whatevers to me.

I dont really see Lopez as the main guy of the division. He got lucky.

Loma is still very dangerous. Infact, id love to see a rematch.
