Why should wilder fight "looser" whyte? Wilder has been a long lasting champ and defeated just by the very best in the division.

Past champ vs past champ would be cool, ie Wilder vs Ruiz or even Wilder vs Martin as it's been reported. Or, Wilder vs an incoming prospect like Joyce, Yoka, Ajagba, Hrgovich.

Whyte should be a gatekeeper like Chisora, but not as nice as Chisora as a person.

Pffft, why the hell would Deontay Wilder fight Dillian Whyte when he can fight somebody much worse for less money in an in house fight?

      What is Eddie thinking?

Be it as it may they both share a win over Washington who is a top 5 win for both . Martin actually would be mistaken for the champion at the time if we compared both performances .

I’m looking for what angle Wilder is looking at here to because he takes safety first fights all the time ,I see Martin has been out of the ring awhile again that’s the only thing I see ,it’s not the easy fight everyone thinks it is if it gets out of round one .

If Whyte gets KO'd again by old Povetkin or even looks bad then there's very little for Whyte other than stepping stone status. I would prefer to see Wilder fight Ruiz who looked bad against Joshua 2 because of his terrible conditioning. Whyte if he wins and Parker if he does should rematch.

I don't know what it is with Wilder and his fans but they have always seemed scared chitless of Dillian Whyte.

They hate Whyte, call him a loser, a bum a drug cheat, vile. If I hated a Boxer that much and was totally convinced my favourite Boxer knocks him out easy id wana see it.

But these guys don't, Wilder turned down a career high pay day to knock Whyte out and shut Whyte, Hearn and all of his fans up but he didn't, instead he text Whyte to tell him he was to be frozen out for 2 years and he was true to his word on that.

Its no good saying Wilder would knock Whyte out and in the same breath saying he shouldn't. It's no good Deontay Wilder saying it's easy work then turning down your highest ever payday and refusing to actually do it.

Wilder has claimed its all about getting the most money he can but then turns it down.

            Stinks like scared to me.

Wilder is coming from a KO loss, he can`t really be a chooser?

Wilder in hiding I was told

He has been in the house since Fury tapped that Assssss! In fact isn’t he retired? I know you not going to let your slave master beat you and send you packing too! Last I heard he was on the boat one day attempting to jump, saying he was poisoned by Mark Breland and it was affecting Or infecting his thought process. Well anyway he deserves loser of the year award, 1st ballot.

Wierd... Povetkin will KO whyte again.. but if he beats him.. Wilder will still be tied up in court with Fury Another three months after Whyte povetkin 2. Unless Fury grows a pair and goes in for his decapitation!

Wilder is only focused on one fight: the Tyson Fury rematch. Mediation talks have now moved to arbitration proceedings. These could last for 6 months and the final decision is legally binding.

Joshua is better off focusing on the Usyk mandatory. Fury will be tied up for a while. All because he refuses to honor the rematch clause. Just like he did with Klitschko...

Wilder's sole focus being Fury is contradicted by Sports Illustrated quoting a source 'familar with the discussions' that he is in preliminary talks to fight Charles Martin in Q1.

                      Also Finkel said this :

"If we can’t get the Fury fight, Deontay needs to be active. If it’s the worst case scenario, we are going to be prepared to get him back in the ring.”

Probably true to say his main focus is getting a rematch with Fury. Clearly not his only focus if he has a backup plan.

Fury avoided a rematch with Klistchko possibly because he feared immediately giving back the HW crown. He's already fought Wilder twice and did better the second time. The reason Wilder isn't getting the rematch is because he didn't want to fight in December and because he has been such a bad loser after the last fight. Wilder is his own worst enemy.
