Because Fury and Joshua going to fight twice back to back.

Joyce got 5 trinket belts, let's say Usyk wins and gets Fury after Fury beats AJ twice, there will be like 100 belts on the line for a massive payday and mega fight. Much more than he would make being a mandatory. Probably get a two fight deal as well.

Usyk will get pummeled and all will bend the knee to their one and true king, Tyson Fury.

Why would a fight between them even be for "interim champion"?

WBO don't need an interim champion, they're got a champion who, apparently is due his mandatory unless WBO grant him (another?) exemption.

Even if the Chisora fight was an eliminator by the way it shouldnt have been. Usyk-Joyce is a good fight though. Maybe put it on the undercard
Anthony vs Joshua for the undisputed champ?😂😂😂.

Further, I completely agree with your write up.

The idea I believe the winner is upgraded immediately after Fury vs Joshua 1 for undisputed.
So its for a delayed full belt as those two can't defend against a mandatory with a rematch.

The only thing Joe has going for him in this, is size. His slow is legendary and that jab that he beat Dbois with? Usyk already nullified it the last time. In this case I don't even think Joe's size is an advantage, it will only slow him down late. More than his normal slow.

I can’t speak for the right or wrong of it but involving these 4 fighters, there are two fights I want very much to see and neither of those fights is Usyk/Joshua

That would be another big HW fight in 2021. Parker/Fa, Charr/Bryan, Wallin/Breazeale are already signed & happening in the next 6 weeks. Add this fight & Fury/Joshua twice (If the court challenge by Wilder favours Fury). Unfortunately I think Fury/Joshua hasn’t be finalized because of the Wilder challenge in court. Usyk/Joyce may not get finalized either until the Wilder situation is sorted out. If Fury/Wilder 3 must happen then Joshua would fight Usyk.
