No he isn’t. There’s nothing great about him.

Sparring is not always to try new things, it's more about perfecting what you already do good. But when a potential future rival is involved, you can go with full speed and intent like a real boxing match. Nobody tells you to take it easy on the opponent. It's reffed too.

Davis offered Ryan to meet him for sparring at Ryan's gym for free. Ryan hasn't accepted it so far. Offer is pending. Do you think Davis is going there to learn something from Garcia?

Sparring isn't everything, but it can be a good gauge for skill and strength differentials.

Tell that to the dozens of sparring partners who ran at the mouth how they knocked so and so knocked so and so only to be put flat on their ass when the match happened with said opponent. How many of these examples need to be seen before it’s finally understood that just because someone KOd someone in sparring doesn’t equate at all to what would occur in a ring with the same boxer? It truly means nada, nothing, zilch.

When they are running their mouths, that's when the sparring is real. In that case, nobody is working on ****. They are actually fighting. I gave the Davis example of Ryan.

We know Gervonta's sparring, semi fights are real with those guys, and nobody was working on anything. If Davis or Dan is lying, someone would have responded by now. They almost all read here.

The point is there are more than one way to spar.

I can agree with the last sentence.

I thought we were talking about Garcia? Has he even fought a former champion yet? And I’m not trying to be sarcastic I’m just wondering.

if we talking about “Garcia” i agree has not done anything “great “ yet...but neither has Davis. Teo beat Loma - a major upset and accomplishment that absolutely puts him above the other 2. And dont think Garcia has beaten a former champ.
