I felt like Devin was downplaying it in his take I read a few months back so idk that either are contesting anything based on what I've seen.

Tank is hyping he almost stopped Devin & Devin was hyping Tank quit & he walked away with the money. Apparently there was money on the session or some sh^t like that.

So both sides could be true. Tank almost stopped Devin, but Devin won.

And sadly I don't see this fight happening this year at all. Even if Devin leaves DAZN after his next fight I think they build up Tank vs Devin for 2022 best case.

I always knew Dan Rafael was capable of writing an in depth article on fighters own words and history. This is the best part:

“I touched Teofimo up and played with him,” Davis said of their sparring years ago. “I actually stopped Devin in sparring. We sparred twice. I stopped him the first time and almost knocked him out the second time. But it was good sparring the second time, but I almost knocked him out.”

At least Rafael educated the boxing fans about their background history. Not many knew anything about that. When fans debate now, they are not shooting in the dark. Lots new info to digest.
