Realistically, NOW, Sampson Lewkowicz is understanding that PBC is in a very tough spot all due to the pandemic. Time goes fast, and sometimes it’s better to make the “marinating” fights sooner than later. Sampson knows David vs Plant has to happen now, but Plant can play hardball all he wants.

To Plant’s credit, he wanted the fight with David, but Lewkowicz was intrigued with Haymon making it a “big” PPV. That’s was all optimism before the pandemic.

Now Sampson Lewkowicz needs to show up for his whole roster, which is basically the Hispanic promotion that Haymon runs. Lewkowicz just plays the part.

True. Benavidez has called out Plant so many times itīs not even funny. Itīs an easy fight to make but Plant is scared and is full of excuses. It would make big numbers but the promoters are scared that Plant would lose and therefore lose his aura of " White Boy Champ " and therefore his marketability.
