Hopefully they can fight each other - it's just a good a fight as Plant v Canelo to me. It sounds like Benavidez knows he will have to earn a Canelo fight by a process of elimination because Canelo isn't going to be rushing to that...Canelo would fight Plant any time though

Haymons smart and takes good financial care of his guys. He knows when his guys are not good and looks for the best financial path while protecting their 0. Plant will fight Canelo before Benavidez I guarantee it. They aren't risking Plant getting beaten by Benavidez.

Maybe Haymons not willing to go through the effort and expense of making a Plant/Benevidez fight because Benevides hasn't shown that he has the professional pride to make weight and pee clean.

He is spot on with everything he said, especially about Plant's opposition. The question now is can he remain disciplined and make weight for the bout? I can see it now, Plant beats him and doesn't get credit because people will say he was drained from making weight

Even though I'm sure you're right about some ppl,I think it'd be a laughably ****** thing to say someone was weightdrained at the full smw limit when they are career smws,(even with Ibf rules Because David doesn't have a belt,so he'd have to abide by Ibf weight rules. The only reason that he didn't make weight before was because of indiscipline.

Look at what Golden boy did with Canelo while Haymon couldnt make a star of Canelos level with all those great boxers that GB had already established.
