First off, Floyd has been "the man" in 4 weight classes, and Pac has only been "the man" in 3 weight classes even though he's an 8 belt title holder.

I look through both of their resumes, and Floyd beating a prime Castillo, prime Hatton, 154 De La Hoya, prime Canelo is better than most if not all of Pacquiao's resume.

it's funny how a lot of floyd haters say that floyd waited for his opponents past his prime, but manny's claim to fame was beating past prime fighters like barrera, and morales who beat his ass first time they fought.

manny has fought a lot of fighters coming off of a loss. Floyd sometimes did it in the past (Judah comes to mind), but he has also beaten a lot of boxers after their best performance.

manny has also been knocked out twice early when he was 17 and 20. now i can understand why people don't really count these losses, as he wasn't in his "prime" yet, but let's be real. imagine if floyd got knocked out once early in his career? floyd haters would be bringing that up nonstop.

oh, and Floyd beat Manny quite easily in their fight. that's what's most confusing. If floyd and manny fought MAYBE, i can see why people debate this. but they literally fought and manny got schooled lol.

im down for debate, what are the reasons why manny supposedly has a better resume?

You had me until prime Canelo. But yes, I do agree that Mayweather is better (and greater) than Pacquiao

Floyd beating Hatton at WW is better than Manny beating Hatton at Hatton's preferred weight class of LWW? Don't see the logic in that.

As for Floyd beating Manny closing the debate on anything... It counts for quite a lot, but not as much as you think. Is Ugas greater than Manny because he comfortably beat him also?

Oh yeah, as someone else pointed out: prime Canelo. LOL

Why are you so thick, Floyd is the better boxer and would beat Manny every day of the week from 130 to 154 he beat him in cruise control, that's all that matters to me most titles are straight out of a cardboard box full of cereal so little kids like you can go look look another shiny title.

Youre into the plastic trophies and Im into the boxing inside the ring, who can beat who.

You did not even answer my question above. Running just like Floyd huh.

Wow being champion from flyweight to welterweight doesn’t mean much huh? I should really stop talking to ****** you but hey you keep engaging me.
Lineal championships in 5 different divisions don’t mean much huh? Only champion in 4 decades? Oldest welterweight champ?

Per your argument then Jeff Horn is greater than Manny too. So is Camacho over SRL. Now you see how ****** you and your buddies are? Still can’t see it?

Basically every retired pro fighter predicted Floyd to beat Manny, and most have Floyd over Manny in terms of legacy. Boxing historians who've never stepped inside the ring don't count. So not sure whose "vast knowledge" you're referring to. Making up opinions that don't exist nice

For me, I don't see the obession of comparing Mayweather to Pacquaio. But I would say the unprecedented 8 belts won by Manny is pretty fucking special. They are/were both exceptional fighters.

If you have to make the direct comparison, Mayweather is the bigger man with the longer reach and also is one of the best fighters of all time. That Manny, at 5'5" and giving away five inches in reach had problems getting round the defensive skills of Mayweather with those kind of physical disadvantages heaped on top is a bit of a non-surprise really.

Finally, Pacquaio was not beholden to defending a zero in the L column. I think that made a big difference later in their careers as to how things played out and how different people appreciate them. Your mileage may vary, but I prefer the more cavalier approach of Pacquaio.

                1) Mayweather has MULTIPLE wins that are better than anyone on Pacquiao's resume... and that is the main criteria when separating ATG's... that is the deciding factor right there... FACT: Mayweather achieved more than Pacquiao

                2) Mayweather has a better body-of-work... the dude fought like 25 world champions, most of them CONSECUTIVELY... and yet above 130, Pacquiao only ever fought the best ONCE... and he lost

                3) Pacquiao lost EIGHT times, multiple times by knockout... Mayweather retired undefeated

you pac-tards need to give it up

Mayweather > Pacquiao... and it is not even close

the funny thing is... neither of them are top 10, and yet you pac-tards somehow insist the Manny is the GOAT ... that tells the whole story right there

no boxing historian is having this discussion... only pac-tards are having this discussion... which again, tells the whole story

Did Jeff Horn dominate boxing for 20 yrs beating everyone, its not just that Floyd beat Manny its his entire body of work and the way he beat HOF and ATG fighters that made him special, the trophy cabinet is subjective they both had a mountain of accomplishments in history, but the boxing inside the ring Floyd is a class above Manny that is why Manny has 8 losses against guys Floyd toys with and that is why Floyd beat Manny in cruise control.

While threads are made about people not getting credit for beating pac, in Floyd's fansminds Floyd's hometown, I V enhanced, no rematch win is unbelievable, better than any Pac win and there's nothing Pac can do to equal that amazing, fantastic win over pac?
let's face it, Floyd s resume is a weak ass smoke and mirrors resume.
That's why Pac is without question best of era and why Floyd fans make threads like this. Desperate situations call for desperate measures.

Because people hold Barerra and Morales in some crazy high regard. Pacquiao's win vs Thurman was a great one, given his age. No question about that, but let's break it down beyond that.

Floyd toyed with Marquez and his victories over Oscar, Cotto and Canelo easily rank Pac's victory over Margarito or Bradley. What else is there?

Floyd beat the better version of Mosley and his victories over Chico, Zab and Castillo outweigh the Rios, Matthysse and Vargas level fighters on Pacquiao's resume. I mean, Pacquiao is on Floyd's resume, ffs.

When you break it down, there's no contest.
