Thurman last fight was in July 2019 when he lost his belt. Before then he was almost losing to Lopez with a bodyshot. Honestly not sure why some are still going on about Keef. The porter fight is a better fight.

We are not living in 2016/2017 anymore (Which was the last time he had a meaningful fight), he has been injured a lot, in active due to some of his injuries and personal life.

At least Porter lives the life and makes it interesting, Keef is just looking to cash out, hence his demands based on what he did 4 years ago.

Keith never asked for 10 million. He asked for close to 5. They want him to take 1 million plus money on the back side to cover their a$$. If it hits 3 million with money on the back it'll happen. Location is the next biggest problem. Face it, Keith lost 1 time, a split decision, against an ATG. Thats not a bad blemish if you have to have one. Hes been in the gym for months is hanging at 160 now so he can be ready.

Keith dug his own grave, he needs to be humbled. Spence is right to not give him a shot but to turn around and do the same thing to Bud is mind boggling.

I'd rather watch ANY fight NOT involving MMA star Shawn Porter. Its a preference and Thurman definitely BOXES NOT WRESTLES. Pacman, Danny G, and Spencer would all be preferred opponents over Porter as well.

You do not need to buy Crawford contract out, this is a mandatory. If the champion cannot stage the fight then the mandatory CAN stage it. If it’s more lucrative from the mandatory side then they can stage it.

Hence why Teo Lopez is looking to go to Australia to fight Kambosa as his mandatory, hence why Amir Khan had to defend his belts in DC against Lamont Pederson. So yes you can make it make sense for your boxer.

Porter has a powerful man backing him, he can bring that fight to PBC, Crawford doesn’t have a good relationship with Arum, he is willing to allow Crawford to fight anywhere as getting fights for him is difficult, with having to pay over the odds for both Bud and his potential opponents.

So this is a great opportunity for the other side to get that belt off Bud, stage the fight on your side as a mandatory. Not sure where a rule book says only the champion can stage a mandatory fight.
What are you talking about they aren't getting 8M without a PPV? Who said they would get 8M without a PPV? I said the success or lack of success of the PPV would not matter as that is the least amount they were walking away with from the fight. You said the typical PBC purse is 1.5M guaranteed and then PPV upside. I brought this up to show you that is not the case.

Lopez is only fighting in Australia due to them being able to have crowds and getting a bigger pay day there. That was the only reason. Now, supposedly you can't have fans there or the amount Arum was expecting so he may scrap those plans.

Cool, PBC can stage the fight, that's fine. But doing so where it is a 75/25 split? No, that doesn't make sense. There is no need to enforce the mandatory when the fight can just be negotiated properly. If Porter to Arum has less worth than Brook, then so be it. Both fighters can go their separate directions for the time being.

The way some posters defend "their guys" is homo-******.

Spence is not fighting the best available competition. Hes trying to fight a 42 year old after Danny Garcia...while NOT fighting Thurman and Crawford.

Thurman beat both Danny and Porter and Crawford is PFP #1/2 and has been for years.

I give Spence very little props. Dude is a weight bully and nothing more as far as I'm concerned. Spence looked like garbage in his PPV debut by failing to even hurt a LIGHTWEIGHT and had a tooth and nail fighter with MMA star Shawn Porter. Which by the way Spencer threw like 50 low blows against Porter - fighting like a lil bitch

I'd rather see Crawford fight Thurman instead of Porter.

But Arum will duck both of them them because he won't pay them better than Khan or Brook.

If he wants a cheap fight there's always Yordenis Ugas. But he's going to duck that one too.

The moral of the story is that Bob will always find a way to avoid good fights for Crawford.
