So what that they can't get full crowds? Davis/LSC did over a million in gate revenue and I bet Spence/Garcia did over 2M in gate revenue.

It is hilarious, now Thurman, who is a PROVEN name is not someone that Crawford should fight? Who is it then? Arum said Porter fight does bad business and he isn't a name but if Crawford is as big as YOU say he is, then both fights should still sell well, right? I mean Spence/Porter did in the 300k range, so Crawford should be able to do the same? And Thurman is even a bigger name than Porter and did nearly 500k buys with Pacquiao. What's the issue? There's excuses about Crawford's low numbers against Khan/Postol, but now you have two names and they aren't good enough either? Huh?

With no crowds/covid where are they going to get 6+ mil for Keith Thurman? I doubt he’d get that much even without covid. Who in that list of fighters you mentioned got 6+ mil?

Keith never asked for that amount of money and already set the record straight on that, stop being manipulated by spinmaster Arum.

He set the record straight by saying “I didn’t mention a number, I asked “what are you willing to offer?”?

Or is there a new/other video?

Now where are you getting 6M+ from? Double of what Brook got is not 6M+.

And why do you keep saying no crowds? We literally just saw crowds for Davis/LSC, Spence/DSG, Canelo/Smith and Garcia/Campbell. There are crowds.......In Texas. Why couldn't they put this fight in Texas and get a 2M or so gate? If not that much, at least over a million.

You could actually give both Crawford/Thurman around 5M each and still do just fine with a 2M gate and 250k buys. In fact, Arum said 33% of the buys for Wilder/Fury II were on ESPN+ and TR is able to keep more of the revenue on digital buys than cable buys. You could absolutely make this work.

But I guess it's fine, neither Porter or Thurman are big enough names for Crawford. Just only Spence and Pacquiao qualify as big names.....

I'd pick the current version of Brook to beat Thurman at this point.

Thurman-Crawford wont happen, because it makes no sense, unless Thurman lowers his asking price (which he wont right now). Porter-Crawford likely happens next, and you’ll be surprised because you think negotiations are done within a day.

The Thurman fight definitely does better business though.
Tough to say, I like both guys, but Shawn has struggled making weight his last few fights IIRC and looked awful against Ugas. It would all depend on who's in better shape right now. Keith has been posting workout videos like he thinks this is his last shot...which it might be lol

Great, Crawford/Porter is a really good fight too. This is the fight that should happen if Spence/Pacquiao happens.

But if Spence/Porter II happens next, would the Thurman fight still not make any sense to you? Who does Crawford fight in the meantime?

I don't think Porter had any trouble making weight lately. He's been with his S&C coach and has done fine. He had that one slip up against Ugas and his performance wasn't the best either but Ugas is legit himself. No shame in being in a competitive bout with him.

Good to hear that Keith is in the gym. Dude admitted he almost got to 200 pounds at one fight in between fights. That's terrible and he's been a WW his entire career.
