    • Damn, was just looking through the Boxrec listings for next month for next month with an eye to putting a Pick Em schedule together when I realised we got Tsyzu vs Hogan as a potential match up still in this month. Now if it was a Saturday fight and there was a title on the line I'd put it in with little hesitation but it's not and there ain't so I'm wondering how foilk would feel about having a special Midweek Pick Em put up for it... not only is it not Saturday though it's not even really wednesday as those of us in the Western Hemisphere would have it... more like Tuesday night.

However I do think it's a good fight despite Hogans back to back Ls that can give us more information on just what level Tim's at. Also our Aussie contingent on the Pick Em tend not to get all that much to be excited about so I figure they probably deserve it.

      What you gentlemen reckon?

      • Potential Pick Ems April 2020

        Title Fights:

        IBF

        Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs Ryosuke Iwasa

Jerwin Ancajas vs Jonathan Javier Rodriguez

        WBA

        Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs Ryosuke Iwasa

        WBC

        Kenshiro Teraji vs Tetsuya Hisada

        WBO

        Jamel Herring vs Carl Frampton

Joe Smith Jr vs Maxim Vlasov

        Demetrius Andrade vs Liam Williams

        Emanuel Navarrete vs Christopher Diaz

Non Title 3 and 4 star fights:

        Israil Madrimov vs Emmany Kalombo

        Jaron Ennis vs Sergey Lipinets

        Eimantas Stanionis vs Thomas Dulorme

        Other potential fights:

        ? Benn vs Vargas

        ? Gongora vs Pearson

        ? Majidov vs Fedosov

        ? Prograis vs Redkach

        ? Bentley vs Cash

Other gents it's a bit rough and ready cos I'm just on my way out and I got Ms Koba breathing down my neck, but it'll give you all a rough idea what's to come... make some final decisions later and polish it up a bit. Please feel free to discuss, debate and so on, and absolutely make sure you let me know if there's anything decent I missed out of the April schedule that should be in.

NC Uppercut Mammoth and asgarth if you could all give the list a look over and let me know what you think be appreciated. Like I say it's more like a first draft right now to be whittled down to the ones we think really belong in - loosely aiming at maybe 8 or 9 altogether for the month, with one or two back-ups in case of cancellations.

Worth noting if we include all the title fights plus the high starred non title fights in red it comes to 10 (Akhmedaliev vs Iwasa is mentioned twice as unified) in total which is about the kinda number we're looking for give or take.

Put it in, Chief - the more, the merrier! I'm also favorable for including ALL the fights you jotted down for April.

Meanwhile, still brain-wracking myself for tomorrow's picks... I'll end this season with a mental disease!

            I would vote for:

            Akhmadaliev Vs Iwasa
Madrimov Vs Kalombo (only know him from his fight vs antwi, but the guy is huge)
            Herring Vs Frampton
            Smith Vs Vlasov
            Ancajas Vs Rodriguez
            Ennis Vs Lipinets
            Stationis Vs Dulorme
            Andrade Vs Williams
            Shiro Vs Hisada
            Bentley Vs Cash
            Navarette Vs Diaz

Regarding Tzyu Vs Hogan. The trend is that people forget to do their picks for mid-week fights. At the end of the day, its their own fault for not keeping uptodate, but that might discourage players from playing to the end of the season.

btw, ive been busy recently. I should pick it up next week again. I'll let you know when/if I start working on the tables so that we dont unnecessarily work on it both at the same time.
Ill definitely send you my excel sheet this weekend, wasnt able to get around to it.

Okay gents, interesting week with Mchunu proving once again that there's no substitute for skills and top level experience or possibly Tishchenko showing that he just ain't got a fighter's heart... time will tell I guess. Whilst the majority of us picked the favourite Whyte for the win only 3 players picked the underdog Mchunu - cong**** ruedboy and Sadiqkingofko - but only one of them also picked Dillian. So massive props to @SUBZEROED the only player to pick both fights correctly. Well done, man.

Credit also goes to those few of you who correctly Picked for the early KO... lotta us saw the stoppage coming but thought it'd last into the mid-rounds.

              All the best gents

Couldn't make it up. You think anyone will believe me if I blame it on asgarth?

EDIT: Yeah looks like some fool copy-pasted the top section from the Beterbiev and Okolie tally but just forgot to change the outcomes...
