    DECISION: CLOSE (0-6), CLEAR (7-18), WIDE (19+)

Examples of the ways you can state your decision:

PICK EM CREW, Mchunu, KO, mid x2
PICK EM CREW, POVETKIN DEC, CLEAR
PICK EM CREW TISHCHENKO DEC WIDE X5
If no multiplier is specified in your pick (ie x2, x3) then it will be assumed that no multiplier is being used (x1)

PICK EM CREW, WHYTE POVETKIN DRAW

    NOTES:
-Picking the correct winner earns 20 pts
-Picking the correct method earns 10 pts
-Picking the correct detail is worth 10 pts
-Draws are worth 150 pts. A perfect pick without a multiplier is 40pts.

-CLOSE is 6 or fewer pts difference, 115 - 113 on all three scorecards or closer. CLEAR is 7 - 18 pts difference, between 115 - 113 and 117 - 111 on all three scorecards. WIDE is anything over 18 points or over 117 - 111 average on three scorecards

-If you'd like to change your pick before the fight starts, post in this thread to do so. Ideally tag me so that I don't miss it.

-2X doubles your points and 3X triples your points. Everyone starts with 10 doubles and 6 triples to use throughout the year. If you forget how many you have left, check the leaderboard in the master thread. Every player also has 3 x5 special multipliers which can be only be used on an underdog (+100 or greater) fighter.

    ...............

If I could ask one of the mods to kindly sticky this thread and remove anything else Pick Em related except the 2021 masterthread, be greatly appreciated. And thanks once again for your help gentlemen.

Ok gents was only thinking of Whyte vs Povetkin this weekend cos much as I'm a fan of the Big Cheese, Ted vs Metcalf ain't really up to scratch. I gave momentary though to Serrano vs Bermudez but even if I thought it'd be appreciated it's probably too short notice.

However glancing over the Boxrec schedule it turned out that there was one decent fight that'd slipped under my radar in Tishchenko vs Mchunu... now, yes, sure Thabiso has taken a few Ls over the years and yes Tishchenko is pretty much amateur royalty, but nonetheless this is a huge step up fight for Evgeny and Thabiso is rightly still ranked in the top 10 at crusiserweight (#5 both by TBRB and Boxrec, #8 per Ring) and in any case has that hellishly awkward style that can give real problems.

Bookies have this one real wide for Evgeny, and maybe that's how it'll go but his lack of any even remotely credible oppostion to date in the pro ranks is a worrying sign when pitting him against a tricky, slippery, world level veteran like Mchunu. KInda fight where I could very easily imagine the upset.

Oooops... just noticed I'd put Sasha down at +350 instead of +250 ... corrected now but it also means there's no longer a x2 on him Tatabanya in case that changes your pick?

Mchunu vs Oosthuizen is a suitable fight so see how Mchunu fairs with the height and length disadvantage. Oosthuizen was also a southpaw.
Tishchenko has been really one-handed so far. Good left hook to the body, but its probably going to be difficult to catch Mchunu clean if he only really has one hand to worry about.

Tishchenkos lacks of (tough) rounds should be an important factor, but Mchunu doesnt really have the pressure style to grind down Tishchenko, although he showed some decent body work vs shot Lebedev.

Seeing -1200 on Thabiso which looks pretty damn tasty to me, might be worth dropping a tenner on... course I do that and they'll probably pull the old face-saving draw trick if Thabiso actually does outbox Evgeny like they did to Chilemba against Fedor.

Edit: lol that'd be -1200 on Evgeny, was about +650 max on Mchunu. Knew I shoulda effing taken it.

Mchunu vs Tommy Gun first fight:

Consensus was Thabiso probably shoulda just about got the nod although Tommy O was the busier of the pair. Mchunu made the rematch beyond doubt though.
