That is the a good point. Guys like canelo, tank and Ryan have a better chance to be the top p4p guy because of their drawing power.

Looking at Canelo's wins since GGG, I could name a few fighters who I'd comfortably pick to beat those guys. They just don't have the millions to offer to make them opponents.

          Yes, it's all bs.

I can't understand why him or his team are so bothered or even need to comment on what is nothing more than a subjective opinion.

As regards ESPN, it pretty obvious why they would rank a fighter they gave a direct involvement with!

There is no doubt Canelo is #1. Crawford my have skill, but he hasn't done anything in years. Nobody, aside from Pacquiao has dared to be great.

Take that back, aside from Pacquiao and Fury.

Canelo is number 1 at the moment. He just beat Smith who was widely regarded as the no. 1 supper middleweight. Its up to bud to leave arum and get over to the pbc and fight Spence porter and pacquiao.

Smith wasn’t that good as he really lost to Ryder, Kovalev was clearly no longer Kovalev, canelos performance vs Jacobs looked very similar to gabe rosados performance vs Jacobs in their last fight, canelo got some help from judges vs ggg twice who was in his mid to late 30s, canelo got what should’ve been a close decision win instead if a wide one against a very small and much older cotto. This isn’t exactly a record comparable to the 4 kings of the 80s fighting each other. It’s not even better than the fights Oscar, Mosley, Trinidad and Vargas had with each other 20 years ago, other than Trinidad and Mosley missing each other.
Did you just bash everyone on Canelos resume and not even bring up one decent win Crawford has??? Brook???

                SMH this guys an idiot.

Who has a better combination of skills plus resume than Canelo? Nobody, except for old man Pacquiao.

Certainly not Crawford. With his Top Rank bum fights.
