The notion that skill and level of opposition should be looked at separately when considering p4p is ridiculous. Any top level fighter is going to look absolutely brilliant against weak opposition. Fighting the very best and pulling through, the way Canelo did with Golovkin, that’s another matter all together, that’s the only way to measure greatness. Crawford beats an over-the-hill Brook and gets to keep the top spot? Nope, that’s just personal bias, plain and simple.

not sure that any other reputable list outside espn has canelo outside number 1, and everybody knows how biased espn is towards their fighters... so if im canelo or his team wouldnt even worry about it... canelo becomes undisputed at 168 next year and crawford wil continue to feast on c level fighters and espn and the eye-test fanboys wont change one thing... it is what it is at this point...

Exactly! RESUME has to be what makes a fighter P4P the best. Not beating on guys 20+ levels lower then them and looking good with a boxing bag for an opponent in the ring.

Yup. But if remember before the Smith/Ryder fight a lot of ppl on this site said Smith beats Canelo. Then once he looked not great all sudden he was a BUM.

I expect the same bsht excuses come out for Plant and Saunders.

Crawford hasnt been caught cheating twice.... Clenelos entire carrear is called into question now that we know he was juicing . Clenelo shouldnt even be allowed to box anymore IMO
