Maybe I throw the word bum around too frivolously, I can admit that. But come on man, today's C level fighters are yesterday's F- level fighters.

Can you imagine Campbell going against the lightweights of the 90's? Nobody would even know who he was except that guy that keeps getting starched.

Imagine Campbell agasint Oscar, Mosley, Ruelas, Paez, Sharmba, Castillo, Corrales, Casamayor, etc. He would have literally gotten killed by those guys.

Top 10 for LW right now? I don't have a top 10, I don't think there really is a top 10 worth mentioning. Top 5 maybe. I don't think LW is that hot if you remove Tank and Teo.

I think Lopez is still green at 16-0, but he has great potential. I see big things for the kid. I rate him an A level fighter.

Tank is world class. Even though he hasn't faced a lot of top opposition, he passes the eye test and my eye is pretty good if I don't say so myself. A- level fighter for sure (which is above A).

Lomachenko is talented no doubt, but nowhere as talented as some people give him credit for. I think his best wins are against way smaller guys and tbh his skills don't really translate at LW. I don't think he would have done well in any division during the 90's. Trampler is a master match maker at Top Rank and he should get a lot of credit for Lomachenko's success. I give Lomachenko a B++.

Haney, initially I liked him and saw potential. Over time though, there is something wrong about the kid. 25 wins and they still feeding him easy meals. He doesn't put his punches together well and I think his team has reservations somewhere. Maybe he's getting hurt in sparring, I don't know. At the moment, I give him a B-. I got to see him against better opposition.

Garcia, he's sloppy and even though he can be fast, his tempo is choppy, and he sacrifices form for speed. Khan did the same thing, great speed, but telegraphed a lot and at the top pro level, you get caught doing that stuff. I think it's a matter of time before Garcia gets x'd out. He's got potential for sure, but I think his bad habits run way too deep. Oscar will match him properly because after losing Canelo, Garcia is a big draw for GBP. I rate Garcia a B.

You got me dying at "hay arroz bueno tampoco pero la mamacitas si son numero uno."
That's a good breakdown and I can respect that. I tend to rate guys relative to the current era vs. all-time but I can appreciate different perspectives, especially well-informed perspectives so much respect

I think that Garcia is different from Amir Khan in that Khan would just throw blinding flurries whereas Ryan focuses more on single shots.

Also, Garcia uses his offense as his defense. It is telegraphed like you said but it's also his go-to move so he's largely gotten away with it. In other words, less is more for him because he's throwing one quick punch at a time.
