It would be nice to see.

But in truth...how many actually end up doing so??

Lewis retired at 38, Wlad 41, Vitali 42, Ali 39. In truth it tends to the late 30s when you need to start calling it quits. Especially at heavyweight.

Its hard to turn down $10m+ for a single nights work...and he looks like he has a lot of mouths to feed.

Not like there are a whole bunch of killers or good fighters left for him to take on, so it's reasonable

Very true , the best is obviously Tyson Fury but Lewis would have done away with them hands down. Even fighters like Ray Mercer would be a real test for the strong but weak chinned Joshua....without going into the real 'pack'.

Two vs Fury, the odd mandatory here and there, Wilder, Usyk maybe Joyce?

There’s isn’t much out there for him and the outcome of the Fury fights dictate massively how long his career goes on!

Loose both and I think he will bow out, win both and there only 1 or 2 other fights worth having
I would tend to agree with this. I think getting out at 34 or 35 would make sense for him.

In terms of the Fury fight, I think whether there is a rematch or not will depend on how the victor prevails. If either Joshua or Fury wins by a big margin, I think there won't be a rematch. The loser will have a couple of lesser fights to try and salvage their rep and then bow out of the game.

I think we only get the rematch if it's a fairly close fight.

Possibly but there will be a rematch clause and pride and money might overtake sense!

Look at Wilder lost the first fight on points (in reality) then got taken apart in the second! He’s now taking legal action to get a third fight!!

Clear case of his hurt pride taking over!

I just hope they can make the fight! Even if we only do get one!

I don't see him hanging around that long even

He's got his two fight series with Fury

If he wins it he'll fight the likes of Usyk, maybe Dillian again, maybe Wilder if he's still around and relevant.

If it's 1-1 there will be a third fight

If he loses 2-0, I don't expect him to hang around much longer

In any scenario I can't imagine 5 years and what 7 or 8 more fights

The same way Andy Ruiz went down in the 1st fight?
Wait, let me guess ... AJ had an off night and that’s how he lost but moving forward he’s never going to have an off night?

“Lewis would have done away with them hands down” - the same way he did with Haseem Rahman and McCall?
Let me guess, Lewis avenged those KO losses so he’s good?

So he wants to retire 2 year's before he reaches the preferred age range of his opponents of 38-41.
Melt. Still never boxed a top 2 heavyweight, i hope Fury retires him this year.

AJ would be the exact type that could knock Lewis out ,he won’t get the recognition he deserves well after retirement just like Lewis ,the social media aspect definitely has not made fans smarter .
