Seems reasonable. 36 is not that young and considering how much hes done in the last 5 years, another 5 is more than enough.

I get what he's saying. The guy wants big fights and he wants to get them done now. He's paid his dues. Its just that when people start talking retirement I kind of feel like they're done already

I'll always bet the over when someone in their prime or around that prime age gives me their retirement plans.

That said I hope he's out sooner than that or on that timeline. This ain't no sport for old guys & in boxing your past prime at 32, 33 more often than not.

He has paid his dues, making retirement plan is a welcome development. Grab the undisputed, make a couple of defences and call it a day.

Makes sense. he will have about two losses to Fury and he will be full of cash. Why keep on fighting?

Then there’s this if we are using that criteria .....

“I don’t know what Klitschko’s motivation was. I think I am coming to the tail end of my boxing career at the ripe old age of 31,” T. Fury

I've been noticing that the sport has been taking a mental toll on him as he's always fighting under ridiculous amounts of pressure. I wouldn't be surprised if he retired even earlier

He’s going have to get past Fury first now, doesn’t he?
