Ryder lost. Could’ve gone either way like many close fights but he lost.

As for that not making canelo #1, stop smoking.

Why should he avenge a win?? No need.

He's rated as their champion not No.1. They've got room for objectivity in the rankings from 1-10 but like all titles the Ring belt goes from holder to holder, whether Smith beat Ryder or not in any individuals opinion it ultimately doesn't matter, the result was what it was, as it was when Canelo beat Smith. Hasn't Canelo left GBP anyway? I heard he's sued them

So in theory you are saying Canelo needs to beat Ryder to be the number 1 at 168 . Lol

He beat the number one guy at 168lbs.

Maybe he should beat Ryder just to cement the position?

                I would say its 20% irondan's post, 20% Casper's post and 60% GGG's post.

Fans should only vouch for canelo to see these 6 fighters before retirement outside mandatory to keep belt if win . ggg 3 charlo (though being jacobs to me is like charlo but 1 step better during prime we know that fight result) benavidez as the big 168 fight. Plant as the first 168 test. Beterbiev n maybe bivol other than that we know the results of the fights unless some boogeyman or hopeful emerges. N as for crossovers nah though i could see if canelos numbers tanks n he doesnt do above 1m ppv which would be a shame compared to all these exhibitions so only crossover canelo should ever entertain is masdival. For mcgregor wont take it canelo to big while we all gamebred is game n similar size n only other person outside mcgregor canelo n occasionally khabib jon jones who can give 1m ppv n better is gamebred plus a striker. Yes canelo still wins in boxing match but we know its selling better than anything canelo can do boxing except maybe beterbiev cause build him as ggg boogeyman n make the fight by begging 2022 its selling make it later we know beterbiev age n canelos pension after kovolav if happens for selecting older ko artist at right timing when aged n shot to finally fight

Rankings are based on actual results and not on fans opinions that a fighter got robbed. Smith officially beat Ryder on the judges's score cards robbery or not. Smith was ranked number one at 168 by everyone and since he officially beat Ryder he remained number 1 until Canelo beat the hell out of him and became number 1. Surely you don't think Ryder should be number 1 at 168 do you??? Ryder lost to both Fielding and Smith and Canelo beat them so easily. ring did not sell out in this case. Everybody now ranks Canelo number 1 at 168 as he should be. Go to any respected ranking place and you will see they have Canelo number 1 at 168. No other 168 pound boxer being number 1 would make any sense at all and Canelo would be the betting favorite to beat any 168 pound boxer. Anyway if not Canelo who do you think should be number 1 at 168?
