    What about Derevyanchenko type fights?

Golovkin has been in a total of 4 real fights in his entire career. Derevyanchenko is one of them.

I like Andrade as a fighter but he is hardly some unbeatable juggernaught. GGG should have 2 wins over Canelo and a 3rd fight in place.

yup..andrade isnt unbeatable.....golovkin could beat him...so why not fight him?

if golovkin isnt going to unify with charlo or andrade why is he holding an ibf belt he doesnt need and doing mando defenses against nobodies?

the reality is this...golovkin manages his career like almost every other fighter....the problem is his fans refuse to acknowledge it...they drag others through the mud and excuse golovkin doing the same things....they bash tons of others fighters for moves the make based on risk/money but when golovkin does it he actually ISNT doing it their eyes......thats always been the problem with golovkin is his online fan base.....they always excuse everything he does and make excuses....and bash tons of other fighters for basically the same stuff

when canelo said "go get a belt and maybe ill fight you" he didnt go for charlo(ok tough fight to make i get it) or andrade(easy fight to make..made alot of sense)...he went for the guy he knew jacobs already beat who was essentially the lowest hanging fruit

Why would you fight Mungia when you can fight a guy with a belt and then with a win you're only 2 belts away from undisputed, one of those fights against the guy you keep begging for a fight with.

GGG and Andrade have the same promoter. They fight on the same network. No excuse for this fight not to happen next.
So true.. Andrade should be calling for this fight too.

That was his fight before last. Why not talk about that?

You see, what you're doing is what blind haters do.

              It's that simple.

as ive said many times with boo boo..im from RI just like him...we follow our big athletes and pull for them since we are so small....ive watched his career....its been botched...the ROC fiasco which came as he backed out of a jermell fight 3 weeks from the date...his own promoter(artie pellulo) said that andrades father lied about the sum of money he wasnt squabbling over and that the actual amount was more.......it is hard to tell but something tells me hes content getting a little over a mil for these cake fights.......i think hed take a golovkin or canelo fight if they materialized but he also might overprice himself too...i dont know

im not saying golovkin thought chenko was "easy"...but prob the easiest option...lets face it...even if you think andrade is overrated...his athleticism and style could be a major problem for golovkin at this point....i think chenko was the cheapest option and probably the least threatning
Good post. Oh no doubt, GGG thought Sergei was the lowest hanging fruit for a belt at 160. I think he thought that was going to be an easy fight too. Considering how Sergei looked vs Culcay.

Andrade is about the hardest guy for me to read out there. Sometimes I feel like he is going to fold against a Canelo or someone like that. But his performance vs Sulecki was very impressive to me. He dominated a guy who went very close with Jacobs. Jacobs was of course competitive with Canelo and GGG.

Wouldn't be surprised if Andrade beat anyone around that weight

Mungia knocks out Andrade badly. He's all wrong for him.

Same reason Bum Crawford fought Kell Brook.

Erik Morales specifically working on Munguia's uppercut, I bet it's for that G fight, he will spamming uppercuts for as long as he's upright; don't sleep, the punching bag might hit back this time!

Anyway, I will have to wait to see who Andrade fights before really getting critical, if he fights at all.
