Kid throws his entire body into every punch.

Imagine when he fights a skilled counterpuncher..!

Yeah that’s crazy. Pigeons, is Ukranian, and Lomachenko is his favorite fighter. I gave him a call immediately after the fight to cheer him. He was bawling his eyes out man.

I doubt it. Tyson was not much of a talker. He was just literally a young criminal from BK who turned to boxing because a former cop put him on to it. If anything Tyson’s story, because it was so genuine, would have made him immensely more popular than he was in the 80s and 90s. Fighters nowadays don’t have such a background like Tyson. A lot of them are wannabees.

Happy New Year! First post for me for 2021 😊

Im talking opponent selection. Tyson would've got ripped to shreds for all the bums he ran through. social media age everything is under a microscope, that's the era Berlanga is in

Maybe a little, but it was different with Mike because people seemed to think he was destined for greatness due to high praise from Cus D'Amato. He had built a big cult following even in the early days.

It's funny though how Berlanga's competition is actually better than Mike's, yet for some reason people just don't believe in him. Maybe because he's associated with Bob Arum. Maybe because they think he's being oversold to the PR fans. But he's obviously talented and I'm excited for him. We'll find out very soon (probably within 3 or 4 fights) if he's truly ready for a title shot.
