If your parents are born in Mexico all it takes is providing their birth certificates which cost 13 USD a piece and providing your own to apply for dual citizenship. I'm sure Andy is already a dual citizen especially with his families interest in properties one of the big benefits of being a US born Mexican citizen.True his blood is pure Mexican but he was still born in the US and his passport still says US citizen. A stable is not a country nor can it give you a valid passport. This is the beauty of the US. It is a mixture of all types of bloods and cultures from around the world. Being American does not mean being a certain color or race. If Andy's parents left Mexico to come here for a better life. Why should Mexico get to claim him as their champ?
So if he holds 2 passports which happens when you are a dual citizen your argument is completely invalid not that it matters because you are just a hater and it's been a year and half already and you are still going on about this.Comment

So if he does not have 2 passports and does not have dual citizenship what would I be?If your parents are born in Mexico all it takes is providing their birth certificates which cost 13 USD a piece and providing your own to apply for dual citizenship. Why am I a hater for stating facts? He was born here so he is American. Not Mexican. He can apply like you said for dual citizenship and be considered a citizen of Mexico but he would still first and foremost be American.
His WIKI even states he is American and does not state anywhere that he is Mexican.Comment

Andy made an easy 20 million and looking at another few million, no matter who. He could get Whyte a million dollar payday, something Joshua couldn't and Hearn wouldn't do. Whyte could get much better payday with Ruiz than getting resparked by Ras*****. These guys are just jealous.Ok boxing Scene Forum...STFU about Andy Ruiz being In Shape or not when most of you on this forum are probably in worse shape than Ruiz right now
Stop pretending like you guys are some shredded fit guy criticizing professional boxers physique Ruiz is still a draw and still extremely marketable because he is a likeable guy and yes because he doesn't have the ideal boxing Physique that can also be marketed because it is more relatable to the average person. It is a TON of fights for Ruiz I want to see:
Ruiz vs Arreola (Sells Out Stubhub if a crowd is allowed)
Ruiz vs Kownacki
Ruiz vs Whyte
Ruiz vs Martin
Ruiz vs Hunter
Ruiz vs Ortiz
Ruiz vs Joyce
Ruiz vs Parker II
LETS GO! Look forward to seeing what is next for Andy!Comment

Very true but some of us ARE in shape. I played some college and semi-pro ball (yeah whoopdee doo I get it) and at almost 45 still lift (and have done so consistenly for 30 years) and race triathlons (swim, bike, run) and consider myself to be in pretty good shape. Even did my first half ironman last year, which was pretty special to me considering I had to learn how to walk again after almost being killed in a motorcycle accident years ago. My point is not to toot my own horn because I'm nothing special. But it's really hard to see a guy who was absolutely blessed with a God given talent who gives ANYONE and EVERYONE a hard time in a boxing ring who up to this point is too obtuse to "get it" and might possibly throw it all away. I, along with I'm sure many others, would've KILLED to have had HALF the talent this guy has. Hopefully the Reynosos can straighten him out, though I'm sure none of his problems were Manny Robles' fault. Wish the kid well. But yeah fans are tired of hearing about "weight loss" followed by more pictures in a black tee-shirt. Same thing we heard last time and he showed up to defend his belts a complete ****house. It's not hating on him. People WANT to see him do right. I mean did he seriously say he's never run or lifted weights before ??!!! What a jackass...Ok boxing Scene Forum...STFU about Andy Ruiz being In Shape or not when most of you on this forum are probably in worse shape than Ruiz right now
