He lost me as a fan when he came in damn near 300 pounds for the Joshua rematch. No excuse for that especially when the fight was announced 4 months in advance.

For the first Joshua fight he had no time to train at Taco Bell, but for the rematch he had a full training camp and came in prime condition with plenty of tacos consumed for the rematch.

Ruiz screwed himself big time. He should of negotiated a rematch in case he lost to Joshua to break the tie and get more $$$.

20lbs in a year? Is this a joke?

If he'd kept the beard he'd have looked 74

If you honestly thought an exhibition match was going to amount to anything especially when the athletic commission forbade them from knocking each other out............

Ruiz is still a draw and still extremely marketable because he is a likeable guy and yes because he doesn't have the ideal boxing Physique that can also be marketed because it is more relatable to the average person. It is a TON of fights for Ruiz I want to see:

Ruiz vs Arreola (Sells Out Stubhub if a crowd is allowed)
                      Ruiz vs Kownacki
                      Ruiz vs Whyte
                      Ruiz vs Martin
                      Ruiz vs Hunter
                      Ruiz vs Ortiz
                      Ruiz vs Joyce
                      Ruiz vs Parker II

LETS GO! Look forward to seeing what is next for Andy!
Playing devil's advocate here. Most of the guys here bashing on Andy probably do not have a job that requires them to be in great shape to perform. If a supermodel suddenly got fat and people started ragging on her for being fat, all that criticism is justifiable because they make a living on their looks. If their supermodel body is what sells then she needs to keep that figure. If Andy being in relative shape is what got him to the top then he needs to stay in relative shape. Not give up on training and pull a Tyson v Douglas.

I hear what you are saying and it is easy to just call out the fat man and say he is fat. To those who are criticizing him for his recent performance, they earned it. They paid to watch him perform and he stunk it up.

Time will tell who gets to laugh last. I just hope he gets in shape and takes his career serious. How many potentials do we need to see go wasted?
