He'd have to chop off a limb (or two) to get to 225.
ha ha he can do it. change in diet, more sleep, more rounds. He weight 255 against Joshua first go around. Another 30 pounds is not that much. when Ruiz finally fights, scale will tell all. If he's over 255, he will be totally ignored. Under 240 and he's instantly ready for a PPV against Wilder.
The boxing world fell in love with Ruiz. Heck, the sports world did.
The HW scene would be way more fun with an effective and relevant Ruiz who is easy to like and fun to interview. I still love the idea of a Luis Ortiz VS. Andy Ruiz crossroads fight. Oh, how things would be different right now had they each won their respective rematches with Wilder and Joshua....
Nobody will fight this dude if he's in shape and focused. His boxing skills will destroy anyone not named Tyson Fury and Fury might retire after the AJ fights
Apparently he was losing weight and coming into the Joshua rematch in top shape... turned out he was using insta-chick tricks on photo stances. The guy can fight there's no doubt about it, but his professional dedication will always be in question until he comes into a fight looking like a pro. There's a huge difference in being slightly on the chunky side and looking morbidly obese - look at the difference of results in Wilder-Fury 2 and Ruiz-Joshua 2.
